It's called your wifi address in iOS settings.

To those who are angry, I know it sucks to have a game you bought go freemium, but I understand why devs do it. Time is money and when you put in all that time only to come up short of the initial investment you have to check your options. As a consumer I've been "burned" a few times, but it's never been life changing to the point that it makes me angry. The App Store changes week to week and most likely any freemiums will get lost in the sauce and be deleted eventually any way.

    Gotcha, thanks

  5. Does this wifi address change everytime you go to a different wifi hotspot?

I don't think so but I'm no expert I such things. I just had to get my MAC address once before so I know it's the "wifi address".

  7. I just wonder if one goes to a different wifi hotspot, whether ads will turn on, I know udid is unique, but I am not sure about the wifi address, and if it changes based on what wifi hotspot you are on.

I don't think you actually mean Ace Patrol, that was always free with IAPs inside.

As for the MAC address, it never changes. You can find and copy the info through these steps:

    Go into Settings
    From there go to "General"
    Tap on "About"
Scroll down until you see "Wi-Fi Address"
Copy the XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX string down and contact the devs.

That said, usually the required info is the UDID, so if the dev could confirm exactly what they want here and in the main thread, it'd be great.

Now that I've said that, rzdesign you should consider yourself VERY lucky to have made your money back at all on an unknown/new IP from an unknown/new developer. There are countless proven developers out there that don't sell enough to cover a fraction of the costs. There is no end to the number if developers who crash and burn, losing their entire life savings in the process.

I mentioned this above, but I'll mention it again since no one needs to read my blabber.

    Mac addresses never change

That's indeed the correct way to get your Mac Address... Reason we need that one instead of the UDID is because Chartboost needs that one to make sure you won't get any ads. This is because on iOS7 you won't have any UDID anymore.. :)

And yeah, we're aware of that. And about the 'new' publisher and such.. This game is co-created by me and a friend. We both have our own brand/company and decided to self-publish.. Sure, this market is though, but we made the best of it!

Anyhow.. for all of you that had bought the game for $2.99 and now have ads because you deleted the game and reinstalled it.. Contact me with your MAC number as described on how to get it by andsoitgoes & a screen of that you bought it before 1.1. We'll make sure to add you to the restriction list.

In the near future we'll have a update with an iAP for the freemium downloaders to disable ads for $0.99, and we'll see if we can give away promocodes for that in-game to the paid customers. :)

We'll make this work! Sorry again for any inconvenience.
