Looks like something I would buy. One thing though is I hope you change the movement control to a variable speed control. Sometimes going slowly one direction or another can be an advantage. It also makes the transition from one direction to another look much smoother instead of jerking one direction or another.
@xStatiCa: Ahh, this is an interesting point that no one has mentioned before. I should say that the move control is indeed an analog-type control, so you do get slower movement close inside and the fastest movement at the edge of the circle. The way I was controlling the ship while recording the videos was more herky-jerky and not so much close to the control center, but I think once you play the game you will get the type of movement you're talking about.
This looks great. Hopefully it does well enough so the dev can afford to put in multiplayer and coop. Are there bosses in this game?
I'm hoping that too. I basically made this game in my spare time over the last couple of years, but as of last week I'm a full-time independent developer. So yeah, if the game does well enough that I can afford to pay rent and stuff like that then I'm planning to keep improving it and working on new stuff. Yes there are. Every five levels at the end of that level there is a boss confrontation.
Yeah when I submitted I set the release date to that day, which basically means release it as soon as it's approved.
