Ok, gotcha! Thanks. I actually like the idea of there being different tracks than the F1 series.
So guys, i’ve Spent these last days benchmarking AAA class racing games, in search of the perfect controls for steering with accelerometer.
And I came up with a totally rewritten steering control, which is now already available on Android. I think it will be available on iOS within this week
That sounds awesome! Can’t wait to try it
Sounds good, haven't played for a while, crazy busy..
, I'll have to jump back in again...
Downloading the update now!
Nice it is v 1.0.2, which brought huge improvements, but v 1.0.3 (expected to be released in the next hours) will fix once for all “gummy” steering feeling
I have to say the thing that putsvme off is when I turn off the camera tilt the cars are almost undrivable, so twitchy.. with camera tilt on I get motion sick...
I love everything else though!
I must admit this thing is so true.
With v 1.0.3 (that is actually waiting for review on Appstore) steering is now a lot better: the car is more responsive and you can feel you are putting your front wheels right where you want to. I hope you guys will confirm it.
v 1.0.3 will also bring another important thing: an improved engine sound, it finally solves that issue which caused engine audio to suddenly stop and play again
A few more bugs are now fixed.. the more important being a crash you could suffer sometimes when receiving a "5 places penalty".
I'm already at work on the next version, which should bring "auto acceleration" controls and more details of the tracks here and there, for a better overall graphics
Hope the update is sometime tonight, I really wanna try it . Do you think you’ll update the cars next year to accompany the real life regulation change? They said the front wing will be much more simple looking to save money.
Sounds great, looking forward to giving it a go
Sure thing, I'll keep updating the game and get it perfect update after update
New update is out in iOS, it rocks! I have full control over my car and I love it! Keep up the great work
This is probably the craziest suggestion ever but, is a console port possible? I would be absolutely pleased to pay over 30$ for it on my Xbox.
Also I got a glitch where the cars engine sounded like a older more high pitched f1. I didn’t mind it, in fact I loved the glitch how it sounded.
I’m not sure how much you are concerned about this but there is a game using images from your game to promote theirs.
Thanks for posting this out, Cooper. I am really worried and upset with it. How come Apple doesn't recognize these clones? They even use my logo. And they also rank that high. I reported this matter to them, hope they will shut this clone down.
Speaking about the (original) game, v 1.0.4 is now out Here's a changelog:
-Redesigned brakes (they are more responsive now);
-Redesigned brake assist function;
-Added brake lights on the tail of the car;
-Redesigned AI (they are faster and smarter);
I made this video, to compare real formula 1 cars performances with the ones of Ala Mobile GP cars... let me know what do you think about
Hope Apple do the right thing and remove that other game. I've installed it just to leave a 1 star 'its a scam' review.
Thanks for the update to your game, loving it
No problem, I’m glad to help you prevent clones from stealing your credit. And also I tried the new update, it’s really awesome! I think the brake lights were a really nice touch. And last but not least I can’t believe how similar the F1 lap versus ala mobile lap were, they were nearly identical!
I’m sorry to be critical of the game but I have noticed one thing. The steering doesn’t feel as responsive as it did last update, like it doesn’t start to turn much when I first tilt it. So it makes it towhere I either can’t turn enough or I turn too much. But I will try to get used to it, it’s not too big of an issue to me.
I actually find the tilt steering now much much better, I just couldn’t get a feel for it before, now it seems much more responsive and more linear.
That video is fantastic!!!
