While we're on sound, when you end a level (such as when dying), the music just cuts off instead of faiding out gradually. It's pretty abrupt and feels kind of unpolished, sticking out on the extremely polished presentation overall,
What would you say is the best plane and upgrade in the game? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think only the main gun upgrade carries to all planes, and maybe the bomb too.
Only the main gun carries through to all planes. I focused on the Spitfire. No ideas or opinions about the other ones. Spitfire has served me well though. I would recommend getting guns and bombs, regret not focusing n them sooner myself.
Really hope the price drop isn't an indication of poor sales. This game should have been priced higher to begin with.
be proud, you are among the least people that still believe in great premium games and support the developers by buying their games. i really2 hope their decisions on lowering the price doesnt based on the poor sales instead of holiday season is coming, so to rise the appstore rank by lowering the price on this holiday moment is a great move.
Normally I'd be disappointed or upset to see a great game or any game go on sale in the first week or two as it feels that we get burned by being early adopters... This time I'm okay with it as the game is so worth the original price and they did drop their first game price to free earlier this past week.
Thanks. i have to admit that at 1st i felt like i was burned by the devs for lowering the price just one week after launch, but, im having so much fun with the game, that i actually dont care about that. This game deserve the original price and even a higher one. it shows polish in almost every area, and if you're a shmup fan, it will give you countless hours of fun. I too hope that the price lowering is because of the holiday season, cuz i dont really think its because of poor sales: shmups are a niche genre to start with, but its one with the most loyal fan base, and im telling you, this one will atract classic and casual gamers alike.
Im not a shmup fan at all but I've really enjoyed this. Working on getting full stars for all levels and very much enjoying the challenges!
I think this deserves at least $5. I thought the game was pretty cheap considering the production outputs, so the price drop was pretty surprising. Maybe it's just not getting the attention it deserves and the sales numbers are on the low? I really hope this game picks up in terms of sales. This is a very well executed game, and a perfect shmup for those who are not into bullet hell. There is a reason this is the TA Frontpage Game of the Week, and it definitely deserves that and more. This game is actually pretty close to belonging to my best games of 2015.
Any way to erase a purchase? I have accidentally bought bombs, or other consumeables but there seems to be no way to cancel the purchase?
Nope. Those are pretty cheap though, that you'll easily buy 5 of each (special and tailgun) without much effort. For now my tip is to make use of the bombs a lot. Bombing structures is the fastest way to earn gold.
