Think I found a bug while upgrading my Yak: I was on the bombing challenge with the Yak plane selected. I tapped to upgrade the homing missile for the first time - cost 5 bars. But no green line showed up indicating I have them, the price is now 20, and I'm pretty sure I don't see any homing missiles helping me out. Either that or the homing missiles really suck.
The price of first Yak homing missile upgrade is 20 ingots. Price for Yak bomb upgrade is 5 ingots, didn't you click [Buy] on that?

Challenge with "(Free)" after plane name means, that the plane is free for that challenge. More planes with their special weapons and/or wingmen turned on will be presented in incoming challenges. At midnight UTC (LA: 4 PM, NY: 7 PM) will be new such challenge, you will receive notifications... Sometimes there will be some funny challenges with unusual weapon or game mode, please be kind with them and have fun...
Hmm, definitely possible I just read it wrong. Actually I did upgrade the bomb, and then tried the homing missile apparently without checking the price. That also might be why my wife does all our shopping...
Either a B-24 or B-17 that would move slower and have a larger model, but guns would shoot multiple directions and could drop multiple bombs at once.
As far as a new plane I absolutely think a P-51 should be in the roster. That plane is just legendary. It was the Cadillac of the skies. I was actually surprised to NOT see it in the game. It was the first plane I looked for when I was scrolling through the choices for the first time. It would have been the first plane I unlocked. Billy
I really want to enjoy this game, but it crashes on my iPad Air every time and I find the iPhone screen too small. Anyone else having issues with freezing/crashing?
My plane enthusiast friend still said he recommends the P-51 be put into this game as he considers that to be one of the most powerful planes of that era. I do hope to see it in. Also I noticed only one plane has electricity and the rest are missiles? What's up with that..? I have all the planes and based on experimentation the final plane Tigershark is the best overall while second would be the P-38 for its lightning ability. Tigershark is worth investment of 50 silver though I think its missiles are pretty much a non-factor. Everything else should be upgraded.
What we know so far this could help: - Reinstall AirAttack 2 again from the App Store if you were logged into GameCenter/Facebook, your game state will be restored after you get online (GameCenter) or Log-in (Facebook) or - Restart your iPhone/iPad (hold down power button for 5 seconds...)
Plane weapons are stylized to be connected with name or some theme: Spitfire - fire P-38 Lightning - electricity - hence discharge effect Yak - winter P-40 - supernatural
The game is truly excellent but what worries me most is that it seems poised to become F2P - I mean all the trappings are there: from dual currencies and the grind involved, add to it the option to watch videos to double your earnings, planes to unlock, weapons to upgrade, all these can become easily more expensive and it only seems natural, regrettably.
If the devs indeed keep this as a premium release - I guess it depends if enough of us buy it. Time will tell. Fingers crossed. And as AnotherKellyDown pointed out - nuff said!
As i posted earlier in the thread, the grind is ONE-TIME. The weapon upgrades are universal to all aircraft. The ones separated are the tertiary weapons, and the squadron thingies, which wouldnt feel as much a grind if your main weapon and bombs have been significantly upgraded.
Works fine on my ipad air, but i want to point out that im in iOS8.4.1 so that may have improved performance on mine. GC has problems with iOS9 right now which can be the culprit on some crashes.
