I always wondered if something would come around that was on par with Sky Force. Anyway just barely getting into the game but already am a fanboi. Thanks to the developers, and TA for letting me know about this game. P.S. Soundtrack and baseball caps to buy would be cool.
I want to thank the dev's for making such an excellent game. I'm not into these kinds of games, and this is one of the best iOS games I've ever owned! I'm hooked! Great job! New maps, aircraft, and occasional new missions/challenges for existing maps would be great. Even if it's a paid DLC a bunch of new content would be welcome. Thanks PS. Would be it possible to add a landscape option, even if there are black bars on the sides? I play it on a Mini 4 in portait and it's great, but I can't play this on my Pro in portrait because the Pro is too much of a monster to hold.
I absolutely love the genre, and this game is one of the best examples. But regarding what you said, it seems to be the case for many. My girlfriend even brought this game after seeing me play it, and she loves it as well.
I just realized that as you're in the gunner seat, you can fire off bombs by simply tapping and it'll go where you aimed. That's awesome! Also loving the Spitfire challenge maps. The flamethrower is fantastic. All these things together are truly making this the best schmup in a long time. And the music....that sounds like something I've heard in some Hollywood war movies before....not dinging it, diggin' it ####
I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be able to add Star Wars into this game.. --- If we're talking about other planes out of WW2, I'd love the F22. That thing is a beauty. Or any Stealth Bomber (seems to fit well with the bombing aspect of the game).
Tail Gunner Challenge... Win 6 ingots. Tail Gunner is on during whole mission (for free)... Just enter main menu when connected to internet and wait few seconds to download new data. And as mentioned by chief78, you can drop bombs with tap during Tail Gunner.
Any thoughts on some of our posts asking about removing ingots or at least making them only for revives? Even if you made other items or upgrades expensive coin wise, I think it would do a lot to make the game seem less freemium. And, of course, we know you didn't have that intention but it just doesn't quite feel right with the dual currency system.
I agree with the suggestions to be able to toggle off the revive option. It's annoying that you have to sit there and stare at it (after already being annoyed about dying!) but just a tip to others... You can quick tap anywhere else on the screen to get it to burn down faster. Also once you are on the upgrade screen for a mission is there no way to go back to the main map/menu or am I just completely missing it?
It'z a jokey joke Yo! I wuz hopeing i could give them a laugh from try'n to include us. Also great minds think alike on the Stealth Bombers being my 1zt Eyedea for fun. I juz thought i'd be a lil' silly for the seriousness of this masterpiece given to us. This game makes me smile everytime i tap the icon##
We are carefully reading all comments here in TA, and about this revive / ingots requests - we need some time to think it over. We will give you more info then...
If you are talking about scenario, when you start Spitfire challenge and don't have Spitfire bought yet, and don't want to, there is [Home] button in up left corner in upgrade screen. Otherwise no, you cannot return to menu directly from upgrade screen, only from in-game pause menu - [Pause] button in up left corner...
Couple questions: Scoring: on one round I got 42% of the enemies, the next I got 75%, but my score was much worse. I also saw that when shooting planes that doesn't necessarily mean points. So what do you get points for? Missions: One says "3 days", another says "00:22". What do those mean? Maybe for us old slow people you could add a manual? Regarding the super weapon for the P-51, it's rather like the Black Widow. It's just so dang gorgeous that the enemies are stupefied.
Each airplane, tank, vehicle, turret is +10 points. After destroying whole formation (4+ planes), bonus will spawn. If it is silver star, it will add +100 points (and it is counting also into Rank)... Since bonuses are spawned also from destroyed buildings, you can have higher score despite destroying less enemies. Campaign missions are on right side from Survival, marked with three stars and with number of the mission. On left side from Survival are daily/weekly challenges, where is counting down time till the end of the challenge.
The Bombing mission has just finished. I gave it a last try when there was two minutes left on the clock. My score was 57 before and reaching 60 would have been an additional 2 ingots bonus. Right after that round, i got fully rewarded for being in the top 50 (think it was) and even those 2 extras for bombing 61 houses. All this blabla means, the online stuff is working top notch. PS: nobody's to blame about their thoughts, if a game has two currencies, oh and a revive. Personally speaking, i totally trust these active Devs here, specially since the original also never saw a f2p revival. That's probably what i would have done before this beauty was released. I like one revive (or are more possible?), gives me an arcade feeling from back of my more vital days, lol.
Oh, I trust the devs not to go F2P. I just don't care for a secondary currency -- especially one that is really hard to build up. I'd rather have one currency and make the decision on whether to keep saving for that ultimate item. Just a psychological thing I guess. I wouldn't mind maybe if they were only for revives.
For what it's worth, I don't care about whether there is a secondary currency. The game is flat out fun and well-made.
Yeah, I don't mind the second currency either. I rather have the devs spending time on more levels/planes than rethinking the game's economy, which seems to be working fine. Amazing new event, BTW, for all the tail gunner fans out there!
