First of all, I'd like to thank everyone that left such generous reviews for the game on the app store(s) - it's so lovely to read that people enjoy the game across the world - seriously, I really appreciate you taking the time to do that!

    Thank you!

    *sheepyhugs*

I'm quite taken aback by all the interest for a take on a game that's over 30 years old - it's rather wonderful and incredibly surreal. Especially when you see it next to other great looking games :O

Sir, you're nearly at the end, level wise! I'd say you're doing just fine!

Also: Don't forget your perks! :D

In other news, the update has been sent! :D

It's nearly 6am here so I'm going to try and get some sleep.

While the image above certainly looks lovely, there are still a few doubts in my mind, which I'll go over when I get up.

It's long and boring and I'm too tired right now! Sorry! :O

Other things added (other than *hopefully* GC stuff) include a few bug fixes, and having any settings you change on the options screen stay the way you like them - including music and sfx volume.

Fingers crossed, and goodnight! Cya tomorrow.

I always find the real work begins AFTER a game's release. You get all happy, thinking you can take a breather, but, noooooooooo. Haha.

I really liked Pumped BMX 2 and obviously I'm a huge fan of the Air Supply Universe, didn't see the first as an option to vote on but AS SOS was my clear choice ;)

    Haha!

    *curtsies*

If I was, the GC stuff would have worked on day one. I'm happy to take best 'sheepy' developer though :)

Thank you for pushing the game for that - it's lovely! :)

Yes. Just when I've collapsed in a heap after finishing a game, some horrid person pokes me in the ribs and says "Get up! The hard works starts NOW!"

Is it you? Are you poking me? :O

    Thank you!

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??? :O

I'll write up about the update I submitted in a bit - I really want to run and read the review - quick skim gives an 8 - which is unbelievable!

    Yay! :D

Hey! That's ok - I replied in that other thread.

I *love* that the thread is still there btw - I sometimes visit it for a read to make me feel warm and fuzzy :)

People in my game threads are awesome - they're the gift that keeps on giving! Thanks for caring! :D

We love you, you adorable sheepy sheep you.

Also, yep...grinned reading that Pocketgamer review. :D

QS...I don't wanna open this door, but I just can't help but ask: Will you consider making 1-bit Run universal one day? (I know you have to redo the art and stuff :/). It just seems odd that it's not sitting on my iPad alongside the other 2 games. :(

I am feeling pretty overwhelmed right now.

I struggle with the idea of 'fans'. Capcom has fans. Star Wars has fans. TV shows have fans.

    I'm just a sheepy.

So this idea of 'fans' is really rather very odd.

    BUT.

If I *did* have fans. And if those fans happened to be you lovely lot...

Well, I'd have the best fans in the world! :D

Your love, support and encouragement for a single person trying to make games as best he can and hoping people like them is just incredible. You are all AWESOME :D

I just wanted to get that out there before the sheepy eyes go a bit blurry! :O

    QS =D

EDIT: Oh, also! I don't have the stats, but collectively you lovely humans must have saved thousands of sheep by now...

    THE MOTHERSHEEP THANKS YOU! :D

Fans are there in case the sheep get hot.

And this game is HOT! ;)

I like it! :D This wool can get a bit stuffy sometimes! :)

That's awesome! :D The Mothersheep is very pleased!

I think Andy has nearly 3000 - hopefully you'll all be able to see when GC goes live.

And I suppose I should address that, so here goes.

I sent the update off yesterday, and hopefully it'll be ok (at least from my end).

The game logs in to GC now, which is a great start! It's more than it does at the moment at least!

Now, the reason I'm not 100% sure is because of provisioning profiles in iTunes.

It's sometimes very complicated - especially if there's a big gap between releasing games! I'm an old sheepy, and forget how to do things sometimes, then Apple will change things too and it all ends up a bit messy! :O

But what's happened is that the GC stuff is under the release provisioning profile. This is what the final game uses. So for sake of argument let's call this SOSRelease.

Now, I can only test with the test provisioning profile - let's call it SOSTest.

If SOSRelease talks to the final game, it *should* be fine. But while testing, I have to use the SOSTest profile so you have the test version trying to talk to the release version for Game Center stuff and you get 'GC not valid for this app' messages and oh look I've gone cross-eyed.

    :O

Anyway, good practice is to have a the test provisioning profile be the same name as the release one. Or something like that. I forget. Sorry!

The good news is that the test version is talking to GC, even if it can't see the leaderboards or achievements because of differing provisioning profiles.

So *hopefully* - when the update goes through - it should work...

Anyway, totally my fault, and I apologise if it's spoiled the game in any way for you. I will keep working on it if it doesn't work, obviously, but I'm 60% confident it will.

    Fingers, eyes and toes crossed!

Hopefully it all works when the update hits. Till then, I bought Infinite as a THANK YOU for making cool retro inspired games and I still have 1bit Run to spend some time with.

I think that that should speak volumes, especially from someone that's not massively into runners. Very cool of you.

I've played infinite a lot and honestly I find it quite therapeutic. I may have dozed off at one point during my high score run of 50,000KM. :D

Edit: Dozed off in a good way, not a bad way. As in the game relaxes me, not bores me. I think you got that, but I thought I'd make sure because it looked bad.

I'm afraid to say it's terrib

...ly great! If only GC wasn't acting up again. Sometimes my scores get posted... sometimes not. But my latest one made it so all is good. I'm just over 1/2 way to Andy's top distance. :D
