Picked this up last night. Namco's Sky Gamblers (the One without the modern aircraft) was on sale for 1.99 so I grabbed that as well. Plenty of flying for me in the near term.
Cleared space on my phone, in spite of my earlier reservations, went to download it, and it said not compatible with my phone. Rep from Chillingo said it did (in the OT), but evidently he was wrong. Oh well, saved myself 3/4 of a gig of space I guess...
Just bought it and enjoying it so far. I have wii sports resort so it's definitely similar to pilot wings. Highly reccomend picking this up for a buck

Yeah, too bad, I wish you could enjoy this game, hopefully you can buy a new ipad soon! There are very good flying games on ios, so I sure am glad that it came out, and thankful that Chillingo reduced the price down to 99 cents which is a steal. Gameloft came though putting Asphault 7 at 99 cents at release, and EA now has put everything almost down to a buck. Wow!
Crap, I bought it on my computer and forgot to check compatibility. Oh well, guess I'll shelve it til I update this fall.
Why do I always at gamestart define the controls and everything? I chose controls once and if I want to change I go to the settings. Why can't I just proceed where I stopped?
Grabbed this during the last sale and played about 30 min of it. It turned out to be pretty fun.. but I haven't touched it since then. It reminds me a lot of the early Glu games: Glyder and Glyder 2 which got removed from the appstore.
Easy to recommend this one...too easy...so I will not do it! Played for about 8 hours (and finished) the very same day it came out...yep one long long gameplay session I've enjoyed so much
