How about a pinball type game mode. Where you try to shoot the puck past a bunch of those bounce things. you could possibly add tilt controls too. You could also do a race mode. in which you are going head to head against your opponent. There is a puck that is at the opposite end of the rink, and first person to reach and score wins. However you may need to tweak the rink a bit and make it a lot longer, like a vertical scrolling lvl. Maybe add vs. mode with online capabilities, bluetooth, wifi, internet, etc
How about a halloween mode ? The characters are skeletons, it rains and thunders and somtimes there is a lightning . Bats fly around the screen. Or a twisted points mode: Normally you have to shoot many goals. But in this mode you have to shoot no goals. The player with the fewest goals wins. Oh... I really want to beta test this game
