To be fair, Carcassonne's price tag was a hefty $10. These iOS board game adaptations don't usually come cheap.
Worthy Design Worth every penny. Great implementation, not much I would do different now that I've played it a bit. Instabuy.
Also, I think food carries over between games in the series. So I feel a little stupid for going for a high score instead of preparing for the next game.
But, also to be fair: The AI Payer in Carcassonne are more balanced and smarter than in Agricola! The AI here is ... hm ... dumb! With a better AI I would even not complain about 10 or 15 Euro ... but so ...
Help!! Everytime I advance to turn 6 the game closes!!! Tried choosing different actions but still, when I advance to 6 it shuts the app. Help??
It's because you rolled a one when you took the "Winds of Magic" action in town, so your farmers were ambushed and killed by Black Orcs. Sorry.
Wow thanks that helps me sooooooooo much.. still its crashing on the 6th turn, even with a new game! Devs... are you fixing this?
Played my third game against an apprentice AI. I feel good that I've always ended in positive points, although always below 20. I've lost all of them, but I'm getting better. The last game I lost 12-13.
Woohoo, got 74 points in a 3 player game. I know one of the players forfeited halfway due to him running out of time but I still consider this a very high score, especially for a 3 player game!
And here's my farm. Sorry it took 3 posts, I didn't know how to fit 3 photos from my iPhone in one post.
A couple of other issues (that I should probably also email through): The animation of the water in the upper left corner of the farm screen cuts off halfway along the visible river instead of covering the entire thing, leaving a very obvious vertical break where the water just stops moving. Cards: 1 Occupation: "A player's first Occupations is free..." - Should just be "Occupation". Dancer: "If there are 1 to 3 Food are on the space..." - Doesn't need "are" twice. Guildmaster: "...2 building resources of the appropiate type for..." - Should be "appropriate". Stockman: "...you may be entitled to to take several animals..." - Doesn't need "to" twice.
If you are really picking on these little things, be aware that I can't even create an account nor login. I'm considering a refund.
She's not "picking on" those things, she's simply noting typos and grammatical errors that the developer will want to fix. Sorry to hear that you're having problems.
Why should I be aware of that, exactly? I can't fix your account problems. I can, however, forward other actual issues and errors to the developers to be fixed, which is what I've just done. You can rest easy knowing that choosing the "Fix Typo" action isn't going prevent Playdek from also taking the "Help Troubled Player" action, if that's what you're worried about.
