Why is the quote concerning? Because they are asking you to pay a whole $1.98 for two decks that took them months to implement and test? And spare me the asanine "but the I&K decks were available as part of the base game in the physical version" argument. That statement is laughable when the digital version costs less than 20 percent of that of the physical version.
Sorry for the confusion. If you didn't spend so much time complaining about Playdek, I wouldn't have misunderstood your use of the word. But thanks for pasting one definition for the word "concerning." Having a post-graduate degree, I had no idea that a word can have more than one meaning. You're so much smarter than the rest of us. That must be an incredible burden on you.
:headdesk: Can't do no right, nope. Not even when helpfully answering a question. Maybe my overreaction is a like for like response to your overreaction For future reference, I've never complained about Playdek's pricing, ever. I overpaid on Summoner Wars, buying every item separately at launch.
You have to admit that you spend an inordinate amount of time complaining about all things Playdek. On these threads. On their Facebook page. And in an effort to be equally as annoying, I'll point out that if you want to use the word "concerning" that way, you should have said "quote concerning" instead of "concerning quote."
So a few batches of posts in the LoW thread here, one comment at Facebook and the discussion over at PocketTactics count as an "inordinate amount of time"? Good to know. And you must be right concerning concerning, since you're the one with a post-graduate degree
Hunh, if anything SN could be deemed one of their biggest fanboys as he's still a huge Ascension and Agricola fan. I think he, like many however, isn't too stoked with how they've poorly supported Summoner Wars so far, but what other "Anti-Playdek" stuff has he spewed?
The update containing the I and K decks has finally arrived (and rather unsurprisingly it arrived exactly when Playdek promised it would).
While I still can't play to save my butt from even the Easy AI, no way I'm passing up a chance to add these 91 new cards!
can't wait to play with my friends...the simple deck was getting a little repetitive after a couple dozen games... =)
Downloaded with I & K decks. Any links to any Agricola primer? I tried playing the tutorial but have no clue what is going on...
I suggest going to www.boardgamegeek.com search for Agricola and scroll down to the videos section. There are usually many tutorial videos and reviews on that site. It'll give you a good idea and there are lots of strategy forums etc there.
When I create a new game, how do I delete players? If I click on ? It just says "click on appropriate icon". I don't see it LOL.
Looks like there is no way to decline an invitation. I see one person is trying to invite me with all 3 decks but since I am still very much a noob, I see no reason to buy new decks right now. On the other hand, I see some guides are quite helpful but still a lot of ground to cover: http://gameknight.com/?page_id=235 http://boardgames.stackexchange.com/questions/619/good-general-strategies-for-agricola http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/332543/a-first-look-at-agricola-strategy
Funnily enough I was reading those exact links before I came here Figured out how to delete players. Just tap on Human or Computer icons again to remove them. Seems so obvious, easy when you know how.

(English and German translations available for this deck at this time) Winner of the 2013 Board Game of the Year from Pocket Tactics! Europe is recovering from some hard times. You and a spouse must grow your 2-room hut and empty farmyard into a productive farm. You must sow and reap, raise animals and expand your family in order to thrive. Europe in the 17th century: a tough time to be a farmer! Agricola is a family-friendly strategy game. Simple to understand and great fun, Agricola lets everyone play to the end in a race to see who can build the most productive farm. Easy To Play Agricola is a turn-based game, played in six Stages and 14 Rounds. On a turn, players place a family member token on a location in town in order to collect resources or to take actions to improve their farm. They can get building materials such as Wood and Clay, plow fields and sow crops, or build fences to keep animals. New actions become available at the start each round and resources get replenished on any taken in the previous round. At harvest crops are reaped, newborn animals arrive and you must feed your family. Growing your family gives you more actions but means you have more mouths to feed! The player with the most productive and advanced farm at the end of 14 rounds is the winner. Victory points are awarded for the number of fields and pastures you have, as well as for crops and animals. Additional points are awarded for extension and renovation of the family’s home, for the number of family members, and for played Occupation and Improvement cards. Players lose one point for each unused farmyard space. An award-winning board game and player favorite since 2007, Agricola is now available as a universal game application.
