Add it to appshopper or the TA app, no one here would know what PlayDek has in mind. It's a very adept app that is an excellent way to play the game, but your tastes are a loss to me...
I'll be diplomatic, and advise you to simply wait: if you don't see the game drop in price during next week's 4th of July sales, then you can take comfort in knowing that it'll likely remain as it is for the foreseeable future, and can look forward to buying it at full price next month when you have sufficient funds.
Looking for friends! Hey all, I'm looking for people willing to play regular games, over 7-21 days. Any number of players would be great! Add me at: darthpotato Thanks!
i LOVE this game and it's a pretty solid implementation, but I agree that the tutorial is super lacking. Also, I wish they had a quick button to pull up the scoring card that comes with the physical game. much better than looking at the in-game rules, which just has big paragraphs for each section. the battery life is AWFUL, too. i basically have to play with my iPad plugged in or it dies in two or three hours.
I don't think there's any iOS boardgame that has a tutorial that is more extensive and comprehensive than the one in Agricola. Honestly, if you can't figure out how to play the game from the massive multi-part tutorial provided, I'm not sure what more you can reasonably expect Playdek to do for you. There is: tapping the stage/round info at the top left of the screen will bring up the "Game Stages" card, and tapping that will flip the card to the scoring side, which resembles the physical one but updates and keeps track of your current score for you. This is covered in the tutorial. Can't speak for the iPad 2, but this isn't an issue on a 4th-gen iPad, at least.
Introduction: My GCID is griffin611, I am total noob and play Family Mode mostly. I play at least once every day, prefer 21-day games
I really wish they did an open world practice environment with more rounds... I'm horrible at this game but for some reason enjoy it. I just wish I could play more of it rather than it being done in a few rounds
Well this just got updated for IOS7, and I am curious as to whether Playdek will eventually release the I and K decks. Would love to see them in the game!
We already know they're going to release those two decks; they are both due out later this year. Playdek's immediate focus is getting the card game Tanto Cuore out in early October.
Does Playdek offer app discount? Hi all Am very keen to try out this game but I am not confident I can handle the game. Thus I am hoping there may be a discount on the app so that I can pick it up with lower cost/risk. Anyone knows if Playdek typically offers sales during certain time such as Black Friday or Christmas? Thanks!
I'll be honest that it is a very daunting game. Very. It makes eclipse look fairly straightforward. That said, there's almost a certainty that it'll go on sale between now and the iTunes shutdown, so if you're patient I think you can get it for less and not feel bad if you can't get it
Nope, but please be patient for the sale though, because their last holiday season sale (Christmas/ New Year Sale) has a weird timing between 17th and 21st January. So, if you wanted to get this game at a discount price, hang on tight.
Will the I&K decks be an update or IAP? Not really too much of an issue as I'll download Agricola the day those hit, but just curious. iPadHasABunchOfIdeasToTryOutInWaterdeep...
