Not sure yet. Super polished but feels a bit shallow so far. Seems to be a trend on a lot of the more formulaic games on AA. fiskadoro Well-Known Member Jan 1, 2009 326 17 18 Chicago, IL #3 fiskadoro, Sep 23, 2019 Tried this and I can't even get past the first challenge, so it's not leaving a great impression on me right now! Will try again later. fiskadoro Well-Known Member Jan 1, 2009 326 17 18 Chicago, IL #4 fiskadoro, Sep 23, 2019 Hmm... So tried again this evening and it looks like a different mission which I successfully finished. From what I can gather, you just get one new mission a day and that's it, so it'll be a fun one to dip into every day for a few minutes then move on to something else. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #5 squarezero, Sep 23, 2019 I think the idea is to try to get as high as possible in the rankings for that mission. I trifs the dally mission a second time and went up from 20 to 18. I have to say that I can appreciate this model much more when it’s not attached to IAPs (and pay to win). fiskadoro Well-Known Member Jan 1, 2009 326 17 18 Chicago, IL #6 fiskadoro, Sep 23, 2019 Yep! I have a number of word games I dip in to every day for their 'daily challenge.' I quite like that I can do the same with this one for a few minutes per day without crazy ads or IAPs blocking my progress. Morbus Iff Well-Known Member Sep 9, 2010 236 33 28 #7 Morbus Iff, Sep 24, 2019 So, side view racing is pretty neat, but I was supremely off put by the lack of ... anything else in the game. That is, I loaded it up, passed the tutorial, finished the first course that was presented to me... and then there was nothing else. So I finished the next difficulty of the same course. And then there was nothing else. So then I failed at the NEXT difficulty of the same course (and I'll sheepishly blame my failure on "started to not care", though you're welcome to blame it on ineptness). I'm not sure this is really gonna last for me if it's just "play the same course three times a day to get a ranking and... nothing else". ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #8 ste86uk, Sep 24, 2019 I’m not really a high score chaser so even though I would like this if it were a fully threshed out game, for me it will probably get deleted. But anyone into high score chasing and competing on leaderboards it’s probably worth checking out as it seems fun if you don’t get bored repeatedly doing the same thing for a better score. Do you? setomoto Well-Known Member Feb 14, 2015 47 0 6 #10 setomoto, Oct 19, 2019 When I downloaded it on first release, I think the target frame rate was 60 but it just didn’t keep up on even the iPhone XS. After recent update, I think the game dialed down to cap a frame rate of 30fps, but I am surprised at given the option of max graphics in settings, and now on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, that 30 FPS frame cap is still present. kinda disappointing, when many other games on Apple Arcade look better AND run at 60. It really feels like this game was intended for a wider release including older phones and even Android, thus the performance limit intentionally set on the game.
