I don't mind the level jumping at all. It's nice to jump up two levels at once. Then I would still get 6 skill points to use. Nothing is wrong with that! Keep it that way!! Steve
That's the problem, you can skip 2, 3, 4, heck even 7 levels at one time - and still, you will only get 3 skill points. That's why the other poster wanted a fix for the level jumping, which the devs acknowledged as being a game bug.
Actually, i am a fairly high level - I won't say how high - and even though I have around 170 missions done and i've been on the Top Agents leaderboard for 3 out of the 4 categories at one point, I cannot for the life of me keep my money - I always get pwned by a bunch of lower level people who constantly attack me and take away around 25 THOUSAND for each loss that I take, all the way until they kill me. So, I just stay in the ER and do missions to get more skill points. And this isn't by lower-level people who necessarily have super weapons, but more so those that devoted almost all of their skill points into a category i am weak to defend against, like the knife or bomb specialties. I have over 200% invested in both speed and accuracy because I have a gun, but I tend to get absolutely OWNED by anyone with a knife or bomb and all their skill points attributed to the strength/defense of that. Anybody wanna give a high level guy some advice? I only have about 35% into dexterity, cause there's a couple other guys who continually try to one-up me with their super-guns, which is part of the reason I have to devote so much into speed and accuracy alone. Plus, when lower-levels attack me and they happen to have a super-knife/bomb, I tend to get owned anyways, which makes me hesitant to keep on pouring skill points into dexterity.
Phew! Glad to know it's not just me! Sure wish there was an answer though....you know, curiosity did kill the cat.
Hi jcde7ago, My thoughts on the weapon balance is that the game tries to have a "scissors-paper-stone" equilibrium. You can be a master of knives like me, boasting high strength and speed to counter guns, but get creamed by bombers, who bet everything on Dex. Conversely, you as a gun specialist would have a better chance of beating the bomber, as their high dex would benefit against knives and bombs but not guns. Currently, all I can think of is you invest more pts into dex (to reduce his damage score on you) or into strength (to increase your HP and therefor REDUCE the % damage done by them. The person who does the most % damage done wins that battle. In a way I think it's a clever system. No person can win all unless they're so high in levels that they covered all bases.
Add all Dev.....Any chance in the next update you guys can put in an 'Accept All' button for pending contacts. It is annoying to do this 1 at a time. BTW...this is also for your other game Mafia. I find that in Mafia R/R it takes sooooo long to add each person, I am usually on wifi at home which is very high speed(so dont tell me its my network) and yet it takes 20-30 seconds per contact to add them. Very frustrating. In Agency Wars it takes about 5-10 seconds per contact, which is still a long time when you have 10-20 contacts pending Thanks
I just noticed, that the MI6 logo featured in the game actually is not the logo of MI6, but the former logo of MI5, Britains national security service for inland operations! You can tell because of the roman number V in the lower right corner of the triangle. The real MI6 logo is the one with lion and unicorn, well known from several appearances in motion pictures featuring a british secret agent with the license to kill Maybe this is a bit of a geek notion, but if one of the sgn graphic designers has some time left...
Restart If I restart my agent will I lose all of my friends? Also will I regain all of the rewards points that I had purchased the first time around and used? Thanks, Steve
Yes, you lose your friends. No, you do not lose your reward points. The game is reset as if you had just purchased the app.
I get this but, I do feel as though gun-specialists, and even knife-specialists are overall at a disadvantage compared to bomb-specialists. Why? because if you're specializing in bombs, you only really need to fill 2 attributes - Dexterity and Speed. If you fill Dexterity, not only do you increase your own bomb damage, but you also simultaneously increase your own defense against other bombers as well as knife specialists. The only other attribute you would need to fill is Speed, so that you can defend against gun-specialists...with these two attributes filled as much as possible, a bomber can defend pretty well against every other threat and be able to attack to their full effect. Gunners/Knifers on the other hand have to fill at least 3 attributes...Dexterity/Accuracy/Speed for gunners, and Strength/Dexterity/Speed for the knifers for those two specialties to properly defend against all others as well as be able to attack to their fullest extent. The other attributes contribute to all 3 fairly equally...so I think a little more re-balancing needs to happen, unless i am not seeing some other aspect of the attributes system.
You know what? I was thinking alot about this after I posted my previous comment, and you're right: bombers do seem to have the upper edges I've recently been hassled by a bomber and couldn't do anything against him. If I put all pts into strength, I get more HP and attack damage, but I still get creamed by his super bomb. It's a hassle, but I'm going to try reallocatig all my pts into Dex and buy the best bomb possible (albeit no where near as good as a super bomb) and see what happens.
I might have to try that out, but I caved in and bought the $2.99 Agency Wars: 20. I don't see as many of the super-noobs, surprisingly, and when I do, I put them on ignore. I'm not sure the ignore feature works, but I figure it can't hurt to try! (Just in case SGN makes it work, eventually. )
Hi Everyone, at what level do you get to before you are out of the hospital to be attacked again? Plus when you increase your levels, the exp points that you need to level up disappear when you reach the 1000's, so you can't tell what you need for the next level. Just my suggestion for an improvement. Add me please 31360 Great game by the way, apart from the super weapons that keep slaughtering me.
A few things... Fist off, a note to the Dev: I'm digging this game so far, but PLEASE allow the option to disable the opening movie clip for the game. Yes, it looks nicer than the static splash screen that follows it, and I understand the desire for branding, but it does not respect the phone's mute switch, which is completely unacceptable. It also interrupts any music or podcast that is playing, which is less annoying, but still annoying. Besides, considering it's followed by a static image of the same logo, it's kind of redundant anyway. Anyway, now for a more open question: I'm playing the Lite version now, but am considering a purchase of the 20 point version. If I were to takethe plunge, would I be forced to restart the game? If so, that would suck, but surely that isn't the case. Just want to make sure before sinking time into the game
Nope, you won't have to, username and progress will be saved. I agree, especially that it cannot be mutet is annoying. I got used to skipping the intro by "double tapping" the screen at the postition of quicktime's skip button
