Yep, man! I re-set yesterday in the afternoon, and I'm back up to level 14 now just fighting. just want to keep it casual for now (coming from Mafia Live which requires constant attention due to passive income from real estate).
Wouldn't you say that Agency Wars requires more constant attention because there is no constant income? I left iMafia for a few days and came back to billions of dollars. You won't be coming back to any money in Agency Wars if you don't play it....
That's true for now until new updates. I hadn't thought about it like that unless the dev can comment on this. Not unless you sell your guns.
That's what I really like about Agency Wars. You can take a break from it for a few hours or the whole night, and since there is no passive income, there is no need to log on every hour to try and bank it before others attack and still the money.. You don't level up if you don't play, so you can still stay competitive within your level range. Just my $0.02.
update: UGH, it was fun while it lasted but im done with this game. the ammount of people with these super weapons is insane. Im getting one shot every other fight and getting massive ammounts of money taken from me, then I also have to sink money into healing after each time i get one shot'd. Then I go to try and fight again, one shot, again. There is no way to tell either if these ppl have these super weapons, and it just ruins it for me. at first it was tolerable here and there but these weapons are just too too broken right now. it was fun while it lasted i suppose.
The weapons aren't broken. People are paying a PREMIUM to have them, and it's only a very small percentage, at least from my experience, and they become less relevant at later levels when you level up your own attributes. Also, here's a tip, if you keep getting killed at your level, don't heal, just STAY in the hospital and they can't touch you while you have only a small amount of health...while at this state, just keep doing missions to level up/recoup your money and when you are leveled up and have enough money, then heal/go find people to attack. It takes a LONG time for health to recover, so you're safe for at least a few hours, enough for your energy to keep recovering and for you to keep doing missions to level up. You can't just blame it on those few who have super weapons, just because if you keep healing only to get attacked again, you're the one dangling yourself out there for them, especially if they have you hitlisted so that they are always able to attack you...
well, yes they are paying for a premium version but to let them have something so powerfull is stupid. Its something that ruins it for other users. But the thing is, I shouldnt have to go 'hide' in the hospital and do a few missions every other hour. I enjoy the going out and fighting other people part. Its cool to go and do missions, then go and fight while i wait for my energy to go up. Its less downtime, with your tip i can only play for a few mins every few hours, and with the whole hiding in hospital thing i dont get to fight ppl. And to mention the hitlist, if your one of the ppl who has a super weapon you just non stop attack someone that you know doesnt have one. every single day you can bank off them. Bottom line it just puts WAY too much power into the hands of ppl who have these. And again, yes i know they have a premium version but Im a paying customer too. Just cause I dont have 20 dollars to sink into an app doesnt mean i should have any less fun than someone who does. also, about the lvl thing, its a problem no matter what lvl you are. It even gets worse it seems because the ppl with the super weapons lvl fast. It was a issue when i was lvl 3 and its an issue when im lvl 50.
The game is still very young. Balance is my main priority and we are doing everything we can to balance the game, and yet provide value to those who are willing to purchase a premium version. When the next tier of items are released, you should expect to see more balance. These will be released soon, however I cannot give an exact date.
How about addressing the battery drain? This game drains my battery faster than anything else I have and I've reviewed close to 200 apps for the iPhone so far. Steve
This is simply because Agency Wars is 4 to 5 times awesomer than the other app available, it requires more energy. Our devs are currently investigating how to reduce awesomeness thus providing better battery strain.
Wth...I just tried logging in and I get the "select agency" screen...I bought the paid $3.00 version too...ugh. Please don't tell me you reset my agent...otherwise i am probably done with this game.
What is your agent's name? I will double check for you. This is most likely a network error, you should try restarting your phone and trying again. If that does not work let me know.
Too late...before i saw this i kept on trying, reset router and everything..didn't work, created a new agent name and that DID work. So i guess I lost that old agent =/
This sounds kinda cool but I fully don't get it. Can someone explain to me exactly how this works? I would be buying the Agency Wars 20 version which is 2.99 I guess my main questions are... 1. What exactly is the game play involved? 2. What are the points for? ( 20/250/free etc ) 3. Does it require you to have tons of friends and are there things I can do in the game w/out friends?
