Not sure about the length. I didn't play it all in one go. Survival levels need to be unlocked through the story. I'm not sure about weapons but I didn't see the Rifle in the first era so it's possible that you need to play to the second era before you see it in Survival. I can't be sure without deleted my game and reinstalling though
The game is really fun. Graphics are great, the levels are distinct (each era has a few levels), Boss battles are tough. The floating control scheme is tough because I seem to miss the grenade button and the shooting control gets in an awkward place. REALLY don't like the story but really... the story doesn't matter so I just skip through them. The real joy is in the survival mode. Is it worth 2.99? For me, no; but that's because I don't have an ipad and feel like the story is just a throw away. While that sounds bad I would still recommend it to friends because it's fantastic to jump into survival and try to out score your friends. Plus there's the fact that it's a halfbrick game which means you can count on them supporting it with new goodies. Disclaimer: I do NOT own the game, yet. I'm playing a copy of the game given to another website (they are awesome to share with me). Once the game is released in the US I'll be picking up that version... unless HB does a promo contest

Survival Mode 1930's 2nd place on leaderboard = me.. not many ppl havn't bought this game yet, so it was easy get into leaderboards lol

Really like it. Very funny text conversations and story filler, good action with lots of powerups like grenades and weapons. Barry is rocking a badass 5 o'clock shadow here just like in Monster Dash. The game looks great, nice Retina icon too. Sticks feel nice, not too sticky, not too loose. Fans of HB will definitely enjoy this. My eyes hurt after playing this and Boss, too much colour, but it's too purdy too look away.
