Crazy art overhaul, all in 3D now It's now called Age of Zombies: Season 2. I think we've got a lot of content ahead of us.
Not a huge fan of the new graphics, but I get the feeling it's going to get more visual changes in the future to help it match better. It doesn't really look so bad as much as it sticks out from the level art
Oh man this doesn't sound good. Why mess with the visuals in an update??? Give me the option at least...I like the 2d graphics! I'm pretty miffed at HB right now. They've already forced me to look at some naff visuals in Fruit Ninja for the past month!
Definitely not digging the new graphics. Blasting the zombies feels less visceral now since they just kinda blow up instead of "splatting". That being said, this is a game I paid a buck for YEARS ago and it is still fun. So...eh I guess no big loss.
Dont worry, the graphics could go back to normal, as it says Barry is in a new dimension. AND the trailer http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ldOHVCbFd9o at about 17 seconds it shows Brains pulling a lever turning the old zombie to the new graphic. So it might be temporary or changed to a certain section of the story in the future. I hope.
And on a side note: either they turned down the difficulty a bit, or playing all those hours of Wayward Souls has made this too easy.lol
Was Age of Zombies Anniversary Edition a completely separate item? That's the version I have that I see no longer exists in the store...but at least I can keep my nice graphics.
Age of Zombies is back! An Update with Upgraded graphics & remastered audio. Although It does look like Halfbrick has a login now. Not sure if it’s required yet. Edit: It looks like you are required to login once with a Halfbrick+ account. After that you don’t have to login again and you can play without internet.
Stoked to see it back...but the floating joysticks are pretty broken. The usual idea with the floating joysticks is that they appear wherever you touch on the screen, but as long as you don't break contact, will stay in place and let you slide your thumb around them to dictate the direction of your movement/shooting. The floating joysticks here NEVER appear to lockdown, unless I missed something obvious, so sliding your thumb around them just moves them continuously following your thumb.
