if you check PSN Store you will find that the PSP version was also made by HalfBrick!

I might annotate than even a `simple` port ist something one can really fragg up. I´ve seen so many ported games going down the drain, I consider porting and art of itself.

Here are a couple of first impressions:

Graphics are crisp, colorful and neat. You start off in Pre-Historic times where a short tutorial takes you through the controls (left JS to move, right JS to shoot... doh).

Just finished the first two levels and played around with the Pistol (starting weapon, slow ROF), shotgun (spread) and Machine Gun (high ROF) - there's no way to switch between weapons apparently so you need to expend all ammo or go over another weapon's power-up to switch.

The sound effects are funny (GOOD GOOOOOD!) and I'm finding PAUSING the game to be oddly satisfying - the sound effect is just... ahh... awesome, lol.

The enemies are levels are getting more and more challenging as I play on; I just fragged a group of 38 zombies with a grenade a minute ago :D

Edit 1: First boss battle was cute/charming as hell - the dino is oddly adorable, hahaha... sorry, he had to go.

    Here's a pic:

    Sorry, buddy...

Edit 2: Second level puts you in a 1930's Mafia movie - the music is niiiice!

    More coming soon...

Hey guys, thought I'd introduce myself, I was the Designer for all the levels in Age Of Zombies and have been working with Phil, Mik and the rest of the crew to make the iPhone version a top-quality product! We all worked really hard to bring this game in all its glory to the iPhone and iPad, and really hope you enjoy it :D

How big is the iPhone game filesize? I ask because i'm at work when the game should be pop up in my countrys app store and then I have the 20 mb UTMS limit (no wifi at work)

EDIT: A question towards the ones who already played the NZ version or the psp version, has the game besides the level after level structure some kind of endless mode?

We went through many strains to get the file size down, and we succeeded :)

And the game contains 5 survival maps, all with different Zombie patterns and types, and all ready to get you. Each one has Leaderboards in both Openfeint and Game Center -- depending on which service you choose!

I completed this game on the PSP, its really fun to play but is quite easy and dosent take long to finish.

Do the bosses appear in the survival mode?

I'm not complaining but for some reason I thought this one was just going to be $0.99.

That said, it's still an instabuy.

Oh gosh, I just watched the video on the first page. The developer's are so awesome for the hearts remark. The heart placement really was frustrating before they released the first Monster Dash update. :D
