@ikemike Which country are you trying to purchase it from? I've read that sometimes it can just take the AppStore a few hours to filter the price drop down to people....
You need to download Age of Zombies Lite and get the code from there. The code isn't universal, it's per device so that's the only way to do it
Just to show off some of the improvements, I've taken a few pictures! Level Select! Choose from any of your favorite Age of Zombies levels and just have fun with it! No longer will you have to start from the beginning! This also works for the survival mode, which has been streamlined and is just a click away now. Christmas Cheer! Barry's donned a Christmas hat, picked up his handy candy cane and blasts Elves in the face! 3 Brand New Survival Levels! Down Under, Skulltopia and Prof. Brains Retro Maze! See if you can figure where they're all based on Brand New Score System! This is my favourite bit -- we're now able to suck down the scores from Game Center or Open Feint and use them in-game. The next score you have to beat in survival mode will show up at the top of the screen. When you beat it Barry will come down and comment on them. We also bring down the top scores into the level select, which you can see a few screens above, so you know whose ass you need to kick And now it's just 99c. Hope you all enjoy it!
Really been eying this, but I have so many dual stick shooters and haven't been able to pull away from Max Adventure. Is there much to the story mode than what the lite version implies?
the only need is the code.. you can re-download the lite version and the code is always the same (own of your phone)
Bought, played, enjoyed. Campaign is way too easy, but entertaining enough given how short it is. Survival mode is lots of fun and reason enough to get the game, the balance seems to be very good, with the same simplistic & cartoony style as minigore but with more weapons, more types of enemies and a much better spawn mechanic. I do wish the maps were a little bigger, but over-all, I think I agree this is the best survival mode I have seen. The scoring system is a mystery wrapped in a riddle wrapped in an enigma. How does it work exactly? Another thing I'd like to know, are special weapons timed, or by ammo? I think they are timed, but am not sure.
I guess there is some trick using the pyramids in exactly the right way. So far I havent pulled that off, but I think I maybe get the concept.
It's based on efficiency Every time you pick up a weapon a counter appears to count how many kills you get with it. so as you kill zombies with the SMG you see the counter near Barry increase. If you still have shots in the gun and are NOT killing zombies that number starts decreasing. When you pick up a new weapon or run out of ammo you get a ranking that adds to your score multiplier (at the top of the screen) For example a single grenade that kills 15 zombies will get you a "Great" ranking which is a +6 or killing more than 20? will get you an "Awesome" ranking for +8 Hope that helps some.
Age of Zombies is shown in IGN's The Year in Zombies 2010 video feature! Was cool to see our little iPhone title sitting alongside the likes of Red Dead Redemption, Call of Duty and Mass Effect 2 in the vid.... even if its only for a purely humerous context. IGN The Year in Zombies 2010
Well I just bought this game, and I see that all the characters are wearing santa suits, and my gun is a freakin candy cane. I can't seem to find a way to turn off this theme. Is it possible? ...or am I not going to be able to play this for a few weeks until an update comes out?
You're stuck with it for a while It could just be additional assists though so when your device's clock reaches a certain point they might revert back to the original ones
Well that's extremely lame. Good idea with the clock, but I did fast forward to March without any change. Thanks for the info though...
