In Age of Rivals, war is beautiful.” 9/10 – Scorecery “Civilization and Settlers of Catan meets Magic” 4/5 – OnRPG Key Features Age of Rivals was inspired by boardgames like 7 Wonders and Dominion and CCGs like Hearthstone, but perfect for a mobile-sized screen. We designed it to be ideal for 1 or 2 players to play in 10 minutes, and we emphasized depth and replayability. And unlike many CCGs, all cards unlock at a constant pace, and you never get duplicate cards you don't need. There are no in-app purchases. I'll be all over this for sure. Not many premium ccgs our there that also have online multiplayer. White wizard games (star realms and epic which is alpha right now) is the only one that comes to mind.
This is the first time I've heard about the game. I like the idea of "ranked public matchmaking", assuming it's realtime. How much will it cost BTW?
Yes, it's realtime and cross-platform, so you can usually get matched pretty quickly because there's already a community playing on Kongregate and Steam. We're still not sure what the price will be, but it will be comparable to other premium card games and boardgames (under $5).
Launch Date: Thursday, June 22 We now have an official launch date for iOS: June 22. More info here: http://robotogames.com/blog/2017/6/16/age-of-rivals-goes-mobile And if you grab it during the first week, you can get it on sale for $.99.
Will this game release in Japanese Appstore? someone wrote URL on twitter so I pressed it and "this game is only available on British Store" it said
Cool, I like the 'private friend matches' ability! Anyone know if this is for both iPhone and iPad? Or filesize?
I've also heard it just landed in Canada, but I still can't get it here in the US. Hopefully, it will make it here to California, USA later on in the day.
Just got it here in California, USA, and was able to effortlessly link to my existing Steam account's progress! Can't beat this for $1 (the first 7 days, not sure what the regular price will be)!
