The Goliaths abided by their different divine callings and upheld the order and flow of this world. Hence, the lives in Engardin reincarnated and multiplied. Humans were the last creation, and their ever-expanding ambitions led to a protracted war against the Goliaths. Engardin was engulfed in flames, until a huge explosion known as "The Razing" devastated the Holy Grounds of mankind and brought a swift end to the conflict. But the divine order was broken, and lives withered away. The age of mankind came to an end. The survivors of the conflict scattered across Engardin. Severed from the Well of Mankind and unable to reincarnate, they banded together to form settlements. Years have passed since this great cataclysm, and the remaining human settlements have been suddenly assaulted by mystic forces. Renee, a young amnesiac girl and student of Aros, was the lone survivor of the attack on her village. Determined to recover her forgotten memories and locate her lost mentor, she bids farewell to her destroyed village to embark on a journey that will inexplicably set into motion a series of events that will determine the fate of this new world. Somewhere in a town amidst the Amazon jungle. http://www.google.com #7 sebgo, Mar 29, 2024 Well, it works on an iPhone 7, which is one year older than my iPotato, but it crashes on a slightly more recent iPad. So it might vary. The game looks nice, I didn't know it was on Switch, so I might grab it there if it ever goes on a deep sale. Good to know it works on iOS with several compatible controllers. Studebaker Active Member Oct 20, 2022 32 29 18 Male #8 Studebaker, Mar 29, 2024 My first attempt at a metroidvania, not something that appealed before, but decided to try as I really liked the look of the graphics, and a reasonable price for what seems a lot of game. So first impression is a platformer with a fair amount of exploration, the map appears huge. Then there are RPG elements, upgrading character with equipment, plus a vast looking skill tree of abilities. All tied together with a complicated story and character interaction. Voice acting is high standard which is a bonus. I guess anyone familiar with the genre knows all this, but it’s a new and interesting adventure for me. Combat is easy so far, on normal difficulty setting, though I assume it will become more challenging. Playing on iPad air, touch controls are fine. (Excellent music as well.) Amazing value really. One of the things you will notice very soon (if you haven’t already) is that there are platforms and sections that seem enticingly out of reach. The idea is that new areas will become available as you gain new abilities and/or items. That’s a standard gameplay mechanic of the genre. This is the perfect Backbone controller game, BTW. sebgo, Anotherkellydown, agreen437 and 1 other person like this. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #10 anthony78, Mar 29, 2024 Have this on Xbox and it’s a great game. Haven’t had enough time to spend with it though with so many other big games. Picked it up on iOS and hoping the touch controls are good because that’s how I want to play it. Don’t buy mobile games that depend on a controller to be good. agreen437 and squarezero like this. But for this price on iOS? I’ll definitely take a look at it and make my own opinion now. It easily seems worth the asking price if you aren’t looking for anything groundbreaking. agreen437 Well-Known Member Jun 12, 2014 1,703 222 63 #15 agreen437, Mar 29, 2024 Ok awesome thank you solarnya Well-Known Member Jul 22, 2015 907 287 63 Male Close to Tokyo, Japan #16 solarnya, Mar 30, 2024 It's really good. It's not gonna have a lot of the gameplay mechanics modern games in the genre offer, but it certainly deserves to be played by any person who enjoys a metroidvania videogame. naghihimutuc and Studebaker like this. agreen437 Well-Known Member Jun 12, 2014 1,703 222 63 #19 agreen437, Apr 3, 2024 Does this game support controllers also I have the m1 iPad Pro will it crash on my device? My guess is that an M1 should have no problem running this. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
