There is QiuckGame mode - you can fly on unlocked arenas using aircrafts you earned.
And there is Compaine mode - the one you progress through (unlock) different arenas, by accomplishing different missions, and get different planes if you are good enough. So, the story is pretty much building your carrier, getting ranks, etc.

And don't forget to follow Aera on Twitter - not to miss promo actions, giveaways, news, and the RELEASE date.

That's disappointing. That feature would have made this a great game.

In opposite - exactly this feature allows very comfortable and natural controls over the aircraft with iDevice (tilting, etc).
And it gives us possibilities for some other cool features which otherwise would not work.
And, this makes Aera very different from all the other aircraft games and flightsims :)

Any word on the estimated release date?

I'm following Aera on Twitter, but the page hasn't been updated in a while.

I can't wait for this game. Based on the video, those look like the best graphics to date on the iDevice.

Hi guys, sorry for not updating much - no exciting news at the moment; we are really busy here finishing/polishing Aera. Currently we are working on tutorials system.
The thing is - we don't want to rush the game out; want to make sure everything is right and good.

The video got me very interested. It looks very nice in motion.

Are there any plans for a Lite version?
