This would be my first time into twitter, and I am hoping to make an account that focuses on simple reviews of apps that otherwise would never be noticed and left in the chaos of the app store. I might eventually move into more fleshed out reviews on a blogspot or eventually a standalone website, but for now I would just like to help indie devs have some success in the app store. For now I would need promo codes for devs, being on a $0 dollar budget, but if this does work I might TOFTT (take one for the team for you newbs out there), randomly of apps that look good in the recently added category. So, 3 things 1) Has this already been done? (don't say app review sites have already done it, at least TA seems to be more about the mainstream apps) 2) Is it worth it? 3) If it is worth it, how do I get decent support/followers?
1. yes it has, but that doesn't really matter. 2. IF you really enjoy playing and talking about iphone games, then yes 3. put a link to your twitter page in your sig. I think ts a great idea. if you do this, i will create my own twitter account and will be your first follower.
That I have no idea about. I like to rip-off album art and replace the band name with Booch138 a lot. *shrugs* hahahaha
Start following as many iPhone devs as you can, that alone seems to get other people following you. Do what I did and go through ImNoSuperMan's list http://twitter.com/NoSuperMan/following
Make sure you report news like upcoming iphone games and such. Hunt around toucharcade and pocketgamer to find tweet worthy news. Making twitter account right now.
Thanks for the advice guys, will go through imnosuperman's list, and thanks for being supportive and not trollish. Edit: logo up @SJP, now if you would only follow me lol
