Adventure Xpress codes! Ok guys. So far (and i mean a waaaaaay far) this game is awesome. Best match 3 on iOS with Doctor Who legacy. NO TIMERS, PERFECT ADULT SWIM HUMO GRAPHICS, PIK POK KNOW-HOW. And i'm not even talking about the OST. I want that OST now ! NO online required, NO ads !
Well - it does have ads (you'll probably start seeing them soon-ish). There is also a timer, but - it's very forgiving (and not long). But the rest of your post is correct!
No, there are ads for other games in there (via a network). Well, not timers in the sense you probably meant it (no timers to unlock content) - so I'll explain: You have 2 life potions (3 total lives). If you die, you use a potion to continue. Potions replenish, 1 every 30 mins. Die 3 times with no potions and you'll either have to wait, use some currency or watch an ad to replenish. It's quite forgiving; most people won't run into that for a while.
Alright. That's why i didn't see them (timers) it's because i completed the forest (yes even the caves) without dying once. Well now i know. I'll add new impressions about that later.

ok, impressions as promised (impression night today for me ) Guys, i just have two words for you : Get It! At first i was afraid it was gonna be a bit like Backflip's Spellfall, that you have to abuse the calendar system or use iaps... But yes, these are the makers of Robot Unicorn Attack 2! and this means, i'm 10 levels in the game, i'm enjoying it, it's fantastic, humoristic, quirky, with equipment, spells and animations, a celtic (?) soundtrack, and 3 lives regenerating (and you can just watch an add if yo urun out). Also, your life energy is restored after every battle!!! Congratulations for another excellent game, i hope the F2P model you so generously implement brings you profit so you can bring us more gems!
