Yes that is still the plan I am just trying to figure out how to best implement the arena system. A lot of people have been asking for more replay options on their high level character after they beat the game so I figured why not let them choose their own battles. It will basically work like this after you beat the game you go to a new area / floor with shop, temple and the new feature an arena. When you enter the arena you will pick up to 3 monsters (any monsters including bosses) that you want to fight. This will give you a chance to create some interesting battles as well as discover more of the games items that you might have missed.
Well the one everyone has found so far is towards the end of the game in the last section. Let's just say there might be an alternate boss.
Just a little update on the update. Added a little indicator for max stats on the roller. Still working on a way to implement the arena feature once you have completed the game. Currently with database limitations it would only be available to characters created after the update is completed :/. Still working hard tho! Hey guys been working hard at the paladin class for the last few weeks and spent the last few days testing hard. Here are some screens showing the new paladin class in action. As stated before this was a pretty big update which includes some work on the roller screen, battle screen, bug fixes, the new paladin class and dwarf race. The end game arena will not be making this update but its already in the works I just need to figure out a few things and I wanted to make sure this new content didnt have to wait. The paladin class is pretty much a combo of the cleric and knight with some cool passive abilities as well. Thanks for taking a look I will post some more details as well as some promos here soon =).

Just waiting on the paladin class update to hit the app store and have almost completed the next update. This next update will finally add an end game arena where you can spawn any monsters from the game (including bosses) this will offer some replayability for your completed characters and also offer some really interesting battles. I did have one question for people who have beaten the game: I was wondering what some players thought about gold/equipment carry over to the afterlife. Would you guys like for all your equipment to carry over or would you like more of a challenge and have to earn back equipment in the new area? Any input would be great too!

The reason i ask is because the end bosses give you some pretty powerful equipment meaning you pretty much slash through everything and it makes the fighting kind of skill-less.
Loving this game so far. Very simple to start with, but you start to see the complexity emerge as you invest more time in. Replayability looks strong, minimal and clean design, in general very impressive first offering from this dev. I agree with the other commenter that inventory management could be cleaned up. Buttons inside the info window would be intuitive and go a long way. I do find the "cannot use skill" message during opponent turns confusing. To me that implies there is a real time aspect to the battles, which contradicts the guide. For me, I would say at worst use more straightforward copy like "wait for your turn" or better just ignore it. Really minor issues. Having a great time with this so far. Thanks for making it!

All redeemed One of my daughters purchased an original Mario bros ( different versions) & link/Zelda for the Wii. My husband is really into the game consoles so she got them for him for Father's Day. He can't play the PC type action games because he is a disabled veteran. Some days, he can hardly use his hands, so he has a special controller for the Wii. Well, I played the zelda type one and I now realize, that after watching the video for this game, it reminds me of it. They are not the same in any way. Just feels like a fun familiarity. I don't remember if it is mentioned in this thread (sorry) but, is this game going to be available on Android? I think he could play this on an Android tablet, and, that's what he has. Otherwise, I'll just let him borrow my ipad. I am very excited that this might be a game that he can play and like! thanks!
Played 3 floors so far, kinda tedious, no strategy other than slashing and drinking potions, I was a rogue, skills were not helping and honestly I don't know what to expect from the following game that will fundamentally change the gameplay.
Glad you are enjoying the game and it's content! I think people have just seen the are quite a bit and want something new but as far as I know I'm the only one to use it in a jrpg setting (that's what the artist told me atleast). What class did you go with?
Yea I hope he will enjoy it. It's designed to be a pickup and play strategy so hopefully it's not too much movement. As for android sorry I don't think it's happening it's designed and programmed for ios only ATM. Let me know how it goes though.
