Whoops Wow I hadn't checked the documentation on this since we shipped our last game (over a year ago). Sure makes me look stupid hahaha. Since this is the case then I think we will definitely be having a conversation about per-level leaderboards for future updates.
Really really fun! Lots of replay value on each level if your a completionist. I'm completely surprised that this cute little penguin game had me busy for hours on end not wanting to put it down!
I can already guess what it will look like haha Will hunt it after dinner Thanks I will post the full team once I get the missing member I really hope so! Games with this quality for free with such generosity dont come often, you deserve your dues!
Yeah, we agree that it's not ideal. A lot of the missions could conflict, like stomp X enemies and invincible enemies, or collect at least 200 coins and collect less than 50 coins, or make it harder like upside down / double speed while attempting to get 200 coins. We just wanted to keep it simple and so the missions are separate.
Yeah, I felt the same way until I hit stage 3 or 4 - whichever one has the upside down/reverse objective - and then it really started to make more sense as to why you can't get more than one. Maybe there could be a way, before you start the stage, to choose which objective (or objectives) you'd like to go for? I don't know how much more work that would put on you guys... =o/
It does look similar, the shading and construction of the environment, the sliding under spikes, some of the moving platform stuff, level design... Too bad it got taken down, it looks cool
First review by 148apps, very positive 4.5 out of 5 stars. http://www.148apps.com/reviews/adventure-beaks-review/
This a decent game. It became a lot more playable when I switched to tap control. This should've been the default.
^ Yeah I've switched to tap after the tutorial level. Much easier. Anyhow, I'm late to the pic party. Waiting to unlock the 2nd penguin before I post it
Hahaha there was a lot of internal debate as to what the default control scheme should be. We found when testing that casual players had a difficult time with tap controls (I think people who are not used to holding a game controller find it unnatural). That is what ultimately led to swipe being the default. I play with the tap scheme as well and would suggest it to anyone who is comfortable playing games with a controller.
Tried tap and it does feel more natural, BUT i didnt use tap coz i am more comfortable with the jump button on the left side. I hope a swap buttons option gets implemented.
I believe so. I think it was mentioned somewhere in this thread somewhere. If you don't want to spend so much you can always pay 99 cents for the costume set of the day as well.
