Tap Menu > 4th in list down (equip) Chose what you want to replace from the box on top right, select it and you get the other options.
But my Siela cant use Slay or Sword Dance while other skills are usable even if she has full MP and no status ailments. Any idea? I notice this happens a lot. Another problem is how do you guys move your characters to back row?
Umm... some skills depend on the weapon you have equipped... I'm not sure if this is the problem though. I need to check.
Something I've been finding extremely annoying is the box that pops up every time you grab an item on the ground. Not only does the box distract from the game but it also stops the flow. I usually don't even care what item I pick up and just tap through it. Maybe instead of a box you could have text appear on the side of what you picked up? Just text that appears for a few seconds and disappears on its own. Random encounters seem a bit too random. Sometimes I get into another battle after only a few steps and other times I can walk across the entire "room" and have no battle. Enjoying the game overall Btw anyone know how to progress and find the Tear of Earth? Not sure where to go in the desert.
Not sure I remember this right... Spoiler It's the temple in the northwestern part near one of the exits. The door will only open if Elias told you where to find the two ingredients and Lidia has offered to help you search and is in your party.
Love it Really enjoying this game so far - any chance of an auto save though? I realise actual resume after quit is a bit much to ask for (would be lovely though ) but an extra save slot the game saves to automatically when you enter / leave the town would be massively helpful, I'm just not in the habit of manually saving iPhone games and I've just lost five or six days play because I got a phone call and them got distracted. I'd also like to add my vote to the ingredient count thing and the pickup popup thing, but I love this game!
This... Big time. Another option would be to have it pop up in the lower right of the screen for a couple seconds (similar to outlook and new incoming emails if people get that reference) Another suggestion is to make the town feel more alive by giving the townsfolk a few more things to say on a daily basis. That way you have a reason to walk around there more. Most of em act like they dont even know you but apparently you've lived there for a long time.... At the very least have your sister who runs the bar say more. It seems very impersonal... She should be a bigger character in the early game I think even if it's established your character is the better cook etc. Just give her a library of things to say and have her do one before she asks you the typical menu, open, etc. EDIT: hahaha. Shortly after posting this one townsfolk starting saying hi Siela how are you? And there was a funny dialogue with the guy at the enhance who always says welcome to to the town. Nice to see that. I guess my suggestion is for more of that then. On that same note I'd build on the party characters more too. Fred has a good number so he's good but for example... Spoiler I think it'd be awesome if you had a scene where the Mage comes in after each desert you make for the first time to try it and have a short dialogue . It'd really help the character development in general which is the biggest area I find lacking so far. To be fair I'm not too far in but I think this is most important early on to draw people into the world since you have less options early game. Also... What's up with the first boss? Spoiler the plant thing at the end of the forest. There is like no reason to beat him it seems. There's not even a room or area past him... I think there should be... It's kind of like... Okay I beat him... Uhm... Yay? . Finally, for us iPad users it'd be great to have an option or something to move the control pad closer to the edge. Hitting the right arrow gets a little uncomfortable with longer sessions where it's currently located (but I see how it's likely perfect on the iPhone). Not a big deal but the devil is in the details right? Great game though. I'm definitely enjoying it and have had my eye on it since I first heard about it a month or so ago!
is there anyone kind enough to kindly make walkthrough for this awesome game? has been playing for days and lost in nowhere now :/, generated much number of sales and just wind the contest anyway
Im still having second thoughts about getting this game. I have been following it, but something's stopping me from getting it. I think it's the bar management that turns me off... I dont know if it will, but i've never been a fan of sim games if it is anything like that.
Party members DDevil: To swap party members from the front to back row: Go to the menu screen where you have the current 3 active party members. Just tap and drag the party members portrait to the right that you want moved, and it's done!
Who is Elias? I don't recall anyone of that name. I've only been told of the two items I need but not where to find them.
Spoiler The second mage you can get for your party. He should have introduced himself, but try the magic school.
There actually isn't a lot of bar management in this game. Every day you talk to your sister to add dishes to the menu and open the bar. Then you get money, and a new day starts, and you either visit a dungeon or some other place. Of course you have to cook the dishes you're going to sell, but you need to do that anyway to gain levels and win the contests.
Curious Loving this game best rpg on the iphone at the moment imo besides chronotrigger of course haha. Has anyone discovered how to open the various hidden caves in the game as of yet. The forest has the first one which states "This stone is in the way..."
You can only access those after you finish the story and the credits roll. And you have to pay attention and do something first to get a tool
Ok I'm a bit stuck as to where to go or what to do. Here's where I'm at: Spoiler I beat all of the cooking contests. The queen just got sick and I'm suppose to find the Tear of Earth and Catfish Extract. I think Lidia mentioned that the Tear of Earth is in the desert but I'm not sure where to go in the desert to find it. I already beat the wind baron thing in the desert and restored the spice shortage. Also, I gained access to the uninhabited island. I didn't find anything on the island other than ingredients on the ground though. My guess is that is where I'll probably find the Catfish later. I don't have the second mage Elias yet and I don't know how to get him either. Can someone please guide me as to what I should be doing next? Thanks!
