I'm hooked with this game, I will write a great review. I hope a universial update comes out, but hey, it still looks great on 2x mode!
there's actually one event with a time limit, but as o-felix-o said, no time limit for the rest including the main story (theres more to it than becoming the number one bar in town!)
Fantastic work! Just spent the last 3.5 hours starting and playing the game. Haven't figured out how to make certain dishes more popular yet -- everything is "normal" popularity. Also haven't seen any instances of seasonal popularity. I guess I'll find out as I get further along. Get some well-deserved rest!
Normal popularity? You mean 2 stars? thats what most of my dishes are, Beer is 3 stars, not sure about Vodka or Wine though.
Awesome! I absolutely love the game and want to take my time to play through it so it's great to hear that.
Thanks for considering some animations to the game. i really think the game is fun actually, but it's just missing a bit of details and some of that city-is-alive feeling.
Really loving this game so far - a fun mix of cooking and RPG battles making for a really unique experience. I would love a Universal update to fill out my iPad's screen but it looks fine in 2x for now. Great work ZigZaGame - you and your team did a fantastic job porting this to iOS.
Loving the game so far i also like the aspects of dungeons but is there an end to them I never get in very far Anyways the game is really fun and I plan on playing it for a long time.
Has anyone managed to open the rocks that block paths in some Dungons yet? I feel like i should have already been able to get past them since my characters are way to good for the dungeons themselfs already. Answer in Spoilertags please. Maybe some people want to find out forthemselfs. Smal little bug report to. When i win a cooking contest i get a message that is suposed to tell me how much i need to earn to gain a bar level. There is always a blank space instead of a number on my iPad 2, iOS 5.1.
I think it's a bit of a cultural issue. The Japanese idea of cherry pie is more like a custard pie with cherries on top, as opposed to the traditional American pie stuffed with cherries and sugar.
Spoiler Be able to get past those blocks till you finish the main story! There are post game areas and bosses past those which was something I really enjoyed!
You can only have three at a time. You can change them if you go into the bar and pause and select party.
Wow, the game is in the top 10 on the paid charts now here in the US. The last time a new RPG on the AppStore did that was..the original Zenonia (early 2009)?! Looks like you guys made it.
I don't like that visiting another town counts towards your daily dungeon limit. I know it's not a race, but I was a bit disappointed to find out that I couldn't get to my dungeons, after visiting the first new town that opened up.
I don't like how when you're cooking at the oven, the menu doesn't tell you how many of each ingredient you have. It does tell you the maximum amount you can make of that specific recipe, but there's no way of telling which ingredient is the actual bottleneck without actually checking your inventory manually. Given the sheer amount of ingredients in the game, it makes it really cumbersome for players to keep track of the ingredients they need to collect to cook a specific recipe.
Agreed. You don't know that you've run out of an ingredient, until it's too late. If I know I have a less-common ingredient like Black Pepper, it would be nice to know I only have 3 of them, when I'm on a specific recipe screen at the oven.
Here is my thread that I just made for recipe combinations. So, if you're getting stuck on which ingredients you need to make a certain recipe, or you have some combinations for recipes you want to share, head over to the "Adventure Bar Story Recipe Combinations" thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=2174856#post2174856
