Listen very carefully to me, it's in the PAST, it happened in April of 2009. Did your twin sister die? You can say all you want you can see it coming from a mile away but until it happens to you, then we can talk.

I'm over this, I don't care what you think you know or think about this but this is a situation you have no clue about.

The original thread is long gone thank goodness. You made your point now please let's move along. Nothing more to discuss

The best way to end this discussion is for you to stop replying in this thread, the fire can't burn if you don't throw any fuel on it..

I don't think you understand what I'm saying to be quite honest. It doesn't make a difference what the situation is, what I'm talking about applies to any topic in the entire world. I'm not making assumptions about what happened to you, I'm telling you as simply as possible, that the internet is full of assholes. If you write something, there are people out there who will make fun of it, I don't know if I can put it more plainly than that.

...also, you've mentioned moving along about a thousand times already, you do realize you could just avoid this topic and it'd die off much faster don't you?

I think what Midian and others are trying to say is, if you were so aware of people's ridiculous and immature online behavior, then you wouldn't appear to be so bothered by it and probably wouldn't have a reaction of any kind when it happens as frequently as it does.

It hurts, we know, even if we do not know the exact pain. But honestly you can't be mad at teens on a forum not caring, it's the Internet.

Yep, long gone, with around 12members posting, 3-4 complaining, the rest of TA ignoring.

Are the standards for teens so low?

sadly, yes. i'm 15 btw. i troll a lot, but i can be compassionate. i do care about others, but some people really don't.

i also don't think it's fair to place the blame on teenagers alone, though. it's up to the person whether they care or not.

Why don't you avoid the topic? I'm 43, tell me something I DON'T know. You are captain obvious, do you realize that?

If I wrote "I love ice cream" and got those replies, do you think I would give a toss? Of course not. You are saying it doesn't matter because your sister or brother DIDN'T DIE and you didn't post a little rememberance in her honor. Do you get that? it very MUCH matters. You are stating things in black and white instead of understanding the uniqueness of the situation.

Was it the wisest of choices to post it? Maybe not but I wasn't thinking about that, all I was thinking about was to free style and post like many do in the Lounge about any ole topic. My topic happened to be something dear to me than anything on this earth..my sister. Tomorrow is the second anniv of turkey day WITHOUT her, do you understand how that feels? I am very emotionally connected with the topic, I wrote it because it was a tribute to her and consisted of no more than 2 paragraphs I believe. It wasn't meant to be replied to. It was done like, "There you go sis, this is for you" Some people do not understand that and that's fine. To call me names for posting about it is absurd and inhuman.

On that day and in that frame of mind, hell yes I was surprised. You cannot see the original thread with the original posts so you are not fully informed of that thread. Don't tell me otherwise, I'm not posting about a game, this is my freaking life. I wished I had never posted it but do I regret saying a few words about one of the most beautiful people that ever lived? Hell no.

And with that, I'm off to buy some new games.

Thanks Clari for creating the group, sorry for the off topic sweetheart

Everyone should remember... people are hurt by words posted on the internet. Nobody should say anything they wouldn't say to someone to their face.

You made a thread expecting people not to post in it?

And you've been using forums since 1993?

Truly, the most heartfelt and sincere memorial a person can leave for their dead sister is in the subforum of an iPhone gaming site.

Do you have an Angelfire guestbook we could sign as well?

Not content having problems with one forum member, you seem to be actively seeking them out with me now. Alright.

If I'm captain obvious, why haven't you taken on board a single thing I've said? I think almost anyone here would agree that when you come online, you leave your emotions behind, cause they're only gonna f*** you over.

Now you're just putting words in my mouth, I didn't say your sister's death doesn't matter, I said that the same rules reply to all topics. Please re-read what I wrote because you've totally reversed what I actually said and turned it into something offensive.

That's fine, I've got no problems with that. All topics are welcome in the Lounge and I probably would have written a sympathetic and respectful reply, but upon seeing the topic I would know full well that there's a perfectly good chance of someone posting something that would upset you. A little more caution on your behalf would have avoided this entire affair, there are actually websites with forums totally dedicated to more personal and emotional issues and on the whole they're much more reliable if you don't want someone messing about and offending you (but still not 100% reliable).

If you don't have Cross Fingers yet you're missing out, it's awesome.

I'm actually gonna stop now. I'm trying to be as decent and respectful as possible but you're clearly not interested.

    That, and it's 6:07am.

I hope you can solve whatever issues you have with other members cause there's really no point in arguments that last this long.

Can't we all just get along? I am gonna go hug some trees.
Congrats on making an adult thread that is one of the least adult like threads I have ever seen.

No, she's disrespecting her sister's memory by doing this. Nobody on an iPhone gaming site really cares she lost her sister.

    This just cheapens the memory.
