Agreed - This is an internet forum people, whats the point of getting upset about things that people you don't even know are saying? Some people on this site are WAY too sensitive - I'm not naming names, but you know who I'm talking about
I'm not gonna take sides but... ...not on the internet they don't. Honestly, you should never expect to get either of those from people online, no matter how serious the situation.
That's utter B.S. I am 43, been online since 1993 and in that time have come across many helpful, very nice and compassionate kids and adults. You don't know the situation and I'm not going to expand on it
I didn't say there weren't nice people online, I said you should never expect decency or compassion from them. There are people out there who'll tear apart any subject you can throw at them, no matter how life-ruining the results may be. I've met plenty of people online who wouldn't hurt a fly, but I know full well that anything I post anywhere on the internet is totally open to mockery and immature jokes, so I'm careful with it.
In my point of view, all of the people who have posted in this thread are pretty much young at heart. I don't think age really matters, there's always going to be an immature, irresponsible kid that's a part of you.
If you're referring to her claiming that I joked about her dead sister, that's false, and have no idea why she's saying this.
