Video looks great. Doesn't have the crazy moves and air that Crazy Snowboard had (Christ Air, Disco, etc), but it is a lot faster and looks a lot better. Animation of the moves could be smoother, sometimes he suddenly snaps ahead in his rotation. Finally this genre is moving forward.
I go absolutely nuts for even the hint of a skiing or boarding game, and this actually looks like it'll deliver some great gameplay! Really looking forward to this-- it's a genre that hasn't had very much action on the iPhone!
Hi, thank you all for the positive response! BradBat: If the embedded video in the original post is not working for you, you can try the following link to our trailer: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZqNSSEbJ1jI We are currently hoping for the game to be up on the app store some time next week. So keep an eye out for it!
Wow, this looks really good! There was a bit of stuttering that I saw, but it could have been due to the youtube upload. Is this going to have any sort of multiplayer?
Just to compare: So yeah you have the current leader beat on graphics, but Crazy Snowboard was really REALLY fun to play, so you have your work cut out for you!
Noticed two things: Seems that you are always going right? Kinda... odd. You had it say backflip when doing a frontflip...
Joshn: The gameplay is mainly focused on scoring points, something like the Slopestyle event you see in the Winter X games etc. In the future there may be extra gameplay modes which are more focused on the racing side of things, but for now we are focusing our effort on Slopestyle, and making that as fun as possible. kmacleod: There are online highscores, with the ability to rank yourself against a group of friends, or world wide. Since the gameplay is mainly Slopestyle (focused on tricks rather than on racing other players) there is not really any need for real time multiplayer. xFinch713x: "Seems that you are always going right? Kinda... odd." Not quite sure what you mean there? "You had it say backflip when doing a frontflip..." Nice catch We also noticed that after uploading the video. You may notice that the video was actually uploaded a few weeks ago. So that issue should be fixed in the final release. Thanks for pointing it out though.
Crazy Snowboard was fun but didn't last long on my iPhone i think i'll like this game's gameplay a lot more it's somehow a simulation than arcade style, and the pace is faster hope this will turn out really good and a race mode in the near future
This looks great! Really nice graphics and looks like it should be fun too. Looks much faster paced than Crazy Snowboard which I think is a good thing. When will it be out?
