I wanna know how the voice cht works, anyone?
Yea me too. I wonder if you have to have a 3G S to use the voice control thing...
Wow voice chat? this is a possibility just for that. I do need a nice pool app though.
I just bought this because of the sale, and knowing that the first Adrenaline Pool Online was never on sale and is still $5 to this day, this may be the only chance to get Adrenaline Pool 2 for $.99 or on sale at all.
So far Arcade Pool Online is a great pool game, the best multiplayer one so far. I will sync and play this game later and let yall know what I think of it.
What's the word Freedog? Yay or Nay?
So worth .99
I've tried the other pool games. I'd have to say that this is the best in my opinion! It's almost like yahoo pool (from what I remember, it's been years) I have yet to use the voice feature. The 2 games I played online said that there idevice wasn't compatable. I'm guessing they were itouch. It is nice to know that I now have an enjoyable pool game too play that's not cluttered and ruined by to many options and a camera that I end up having to move all the time just to see and aim a shot. It's simple and only in over head shot. If I click of the stick I can control English and for power I slide the meter at the top of the screen with my finger. I noticed that the powerstrength changes to whatever the other changed it too, so keep an eye on that. To shoot just hit the shoot button that's also in the top bar. Aim is a laser line that shoots out across the whole table, just drag your finger to aim the line with your shot. I really like the chat feature. It's not really in the way and fades pretty fast. If you liked yahoo pool, I'd say you'll like this. Oh, and the lighting on the balls looks great and the whole game is very polished! The sparkles that pop up after a ball makes contact can be turned off in options. You also get a profile and can upload your pic to it for others to see, there's an option to turn off players who swear during char auto checked, I unchecked that. Pool rooms need to uphold the first admendment, just my opinion
I just picked up this game because I like pool games and it is .99. I have only played a couple games, it seems pretty good so far once you get used to the controls. I haven't figured out how to use english yet, can you?
Anyway, add iSaga to your friends list.
Okay I had some time to play it, and its fun. Runs smoothly. The graphics are good. The physics of the way the ball rolls after being hit is smooth and pretty accurate. The trajectory of your shots seems a little off, its hard to explain exactly what I mean by this. It takes some getting used to and practice to get your shots down because when you aim at the ball and hit it the angle the ball moves after being hit doesnt seem 100% precise. I don't know if its because the balls are oversized compared to the table or not. Its not horrible at all, but just not spot on. Overall its a good fun game, I recommend it for $1. I personally like Arcade Pool Online a little better, but by no means is Adrenaline Pool Online 2 a bad game.
Now $2.99 apparantly
Voice chat? Well, 3.0 has been released, all we have to do is wait for a mic to come out. Well, for us Touch users anyways
Yeah it appears they jacked the price up already, that was quick. Y'all shoulda grabbed it when it was $1 if you didn't. Anyway, its good like I said and I would even say $3 is fair for this game but I don't recommend anyone spend more than that on it. Judging by Eurocenter's history I wouldnt be surprised to see this game go up to $5 in a couple days and stay there for good.
Yes it will go back to 4.99 or so later. We have hundreds of players and sometimes even thousands of players playing at the same time so there are some costs. Also we have to check user reports regulary and improve the server-side code, we have just recently improved the match-making so you can easier find people that match your criterias and score.
For iPod touch 2G there are several earphones which include microphone, voice chat works fine with that
Just played a game of this with Arn. The pool portion is solid, and voice chat kind of varies between low bitrate Ventrilo and WW2-era backpack mounted Walky Talky. We were both on WiFi, so who knows. Arn could hear me OK I guess but he went in and out between sounding decent to sounding like the teacher from Charlie Brown.
Really look forward to seeing more games with voice chat, for all I know the developer could be limiting it to the absolute lowest bitrate to save bandwidth or it could be doing some buggy data rate calculations based on ping or whatever to figure the voice bitrate.
Adrenaline Pool Online 2 is back
After having some problems with Apple it's back, and still on sale for $2.99 (pool 1 was $4.99).
