If you look carefully at the transfers page there's a button to search for a player in any team. You must be ready to shell out more money though, since his team doesn't want to get rid of him if he's not in the list!
Using the 'browse' button you can buy any player from any team. I think the free agents are restricted to the ones that happen to appear on the transfer list though.
What are the differences of Active soccer from AS 2? Does it have modes which are not in AS2 , like a star player mode or smth ?
nah, it has only national teams (with non-adjustable scrambled player names), only one competition (a sort of world cup with home-away matches for knockout stages) and a less refined (but still fun) gameplay. It is like the skeleton on which the full-fledged AS2 has been built.

Just a tip for those who like to play w smaller teams like I do. Buy a Free agent who is worth something and then negotiate to get him on Your team after that sell him and get your money and he was a free Transfer just a way to pick up extra loot now this just came to me So I have not tried it yet about to though. Didn't work straight away think U can only do that the next season so you are stuck w his high wages so Not a good idea.
Hi, I fear the management part is too light, this is why I think the match should be played. Eventually, in a future Active Soccer 3 with an improved management part I can add this option.
Something really weird just happened. I'm playing a career as Chelsea and in a cup match against Everton every time I started the match I was only controlling Everton's keeper. The rest of their team was off the pitch bottom left on my screen. BUT I'm supposed to be Chelsea! So weird. Chelsea would run the ball down to the Everton keeper which I was controlling. I'd get the ball, then I could kick it out. Also, how do I swing in the ball from a corner? No matter how long I hold pass or kick it goes to the first person, which is usually not one of my teammates.
Unfortunately it is a known problem, the fix is included in the upcoming version. Was it an european cup match? Europa League? To take a corner hold the shot button. Cheers
I had the bug too, it should be fixed in the upcoming update. You can at least control the other team by calling the bench. You'll see that their scheme is set to everyone being in a corner, and that's why you don't see them. Then you can set the predefined or another "normal" scheme.
Go to your 'Squad' screen and the 'sell' buttons are to the right of the player info. This puts them on the market. Then later you will receive offers for those players
Alternatively, if you are interested in buying a player, you can include one of your players as part of the offer.
Any updates? Submitted? For a future version, please we really need a way to export video to album or upload to YouTube or Facebook. Many times I want to show a goal but I can't in simple way. And I think this can also help the game about popularity.

I was thinking about this one called: NES30 is a bluetooth/USB gamepad States-- Compatible with iOS, Android, Mac OS, and Windows, and also supports iOS/Android devices which have been jailbroken/rooted. Not Mifi enabled Play via bluetooth connection or utilize the USB port to connect directly to your device. I'm confused on how to use this if it is not mifi enabled? I'm not looking to put my iPhone into the controller but to only use the controller when using Apple TV and my television! Please advise...
