Holding B to track an attacker and perform a tackle was one of the features in AS1 that I thought worked really well. Is there any reason why you switched back to auto-tackle?
Did this exist? I'm not so sure. I thought that was only in Natural Soccer. I could be wrong. Anyway now it is not 'auto' anything. You have to completely manually position the player to take the ball. The feature you describe, a track button, would automate this process (removing some skill from the game).
Had a couple of game were I only just managed to score, then had a final game for tonight and pulled some true highlight reel stuff! Really like the idea of a goal of the week or something, would need to work out how to export/capture the goals though...
This feature was introduced in AS1 with the latest versions because in As1 was really difficult to defend. in fact the collisions between players were not so physical as AS2 hence an help on defending was necessary. But I never liked this automatic tracking system. In AS2 things are different: you can push an opponent, move him with the shoulder, shield the ball or perform a tackle. There are many ways to steal the ball so the automatic tracking system is now not necessary. I am confident that with the new improved switching method the defense part will be more friendly.
Great game! But it would be nice to have a separate button for sprint. Double tapping the directional pad is quite cumbersome and it takes away from the flow of the game.
Hi ! Can you correct the home shirt of Troyes (French Ligue 2) and the away shirt of Manchester City (the colours are wrong) please ? Thanks a lot
Joue avec Auxerre alors you can play with Auxerre instead Would be great to have some clubs' 3rd shirt too
That would be really cool if it was possible! I have a couple of goals saved that would be cool to share
Haha, je me demande le derby pour Troyes c'est Auxerre ou Sedan? En tout cas très sympa Troyes, ca joue toujours bien un peu comme Caen et Lorient
Just a question - will all of these changes we're discussing go into the Android and PC versions of the game too?
What do these red and green ( up & down ) arrows mean ? I noticed that the players run slower when they have red arrows pointing down ... Is it all about rotation ? And give us some more info about the ratings given at the end of year , how do they affect players ? I scored 18 goals with my striker in one season but his price decreased at the end of season... And is the age of players considered in this game ? If yes how it affects them..
Arrows refer to the form of the players. There is a problem with appearances count starting from the 2nd season and this could generate mistakes on new rating calculations. Both form and appearances calculation are going to be improved in the next upcoming version.
By the way Gianluca, any chance to be able to transfer players manually so that we could update the teams' squad?
