Okay, I'll bite - based on what? I used to love The Double! Sierra Soccer was up there too, and Football Glory. So much greatness in old Amiga footie! Such a shame there's such a lack of decent footie games on consoles etc.

That's the beauty! Bloody gorgeous game. Isometric view was really neat too. I remember playing PLC but I just didn't get into it. The Double was marvellous, it had non-league teams and all sorts. I remember Bishops Stortford being in the game. Bishops Stortford for heaven's sake! It was amazing for finding gems, but iirc your players didn't really develop skills or get any better. That said, that didn't happen in SWOS either; just their value increases which meant you could sell them for better players. Bloody hell, I loved the Amiga. I really do wish there was as much football game choice today as there was back then.
Let's talk again about Active Soccer 2, I decided to add the improved players switching already in this version 1.1.0. It is going to be an HUGE update!

I honestly have no problem with the players switching, it is really similar to Kick Off 2 original one based on joystick movements. Anyway I understand people nowadays wants something more intuitive...this is why I decided to update the switching in 1.1.0 version.
Will there be an Option to keep it like it is w joystick movements or will new way be only way. I'm with you in liking it way it is now. If not I understand completely.
have you considered my suggestion of an entire highlihts save? would be awesome, highlights works really fine in your game.
I may be confused! I thought you were meaning when you are dribbling and it decides to switch control to a different player because they are both near the ball... I actually don't mind the current way you switch players yourself!
Again, please make these things optional because I like the gameplay as it is now. The player switching does work quite well for me actually. No more buttons please. This is a hardcore oldschool soccer/football game, and that's the special thing about this game.
I think I found a bug, if it's not been mentioned. I got to the England cup final with Southampton vs Manchester reds. We played 1-1 and the game ended instead of going to extra time and penalties.
