I thought of one more mode that would be really easy to make, a futsal mode (5vs5), that would be awsome, that would make the game very unique and fun! Just make one smaller ground (1/3 of a real football pitch) 5 aside and your game will be a must have for all for ball lovers, futsal is very very popular in Japan and France, I would absolutely love to play a tournament of futsal with Chelsea or Gamba Osaka
Just played as my home team FC Dallas in MLS, and noticed their kits are from a couple years ago. Last year's kit is Red and dark red hoops instead of red and white. Also, is there a way to chip the ball over the other team? Every time I try to cross from the wings, the closest opponent just gets the ball. Can't seem to kick over or around him.
there are 2 ways to perform it: - keep holding button 2 The more you hold the button the longest the pass is. - press shooting button 1 in order to increase the pass length
I'm having some strangeness regarding shooting. With national clubs, I was scoring just fine. I'm assuming either I've suddenly become rubbish, or conference sides are hampered in their abilities. I can be on goal, heading in a certain direction, tab shoot and BAM! the shot flies off at some semi-random angle. Any tips for shooting (medium skill level)? At this rate, Aldershot will never make it into the league (which is at least realistic, I guess).
Weird bug. The game wouldn't let me switch players (one was on a red), so I started with ten men. Now I have a corner and no-one's there to take it. The clock's stopped. Looks like I'll have to abandon the game, which is irritating. EDIT: After several minutes and a couple of tactics switches, a player suddenly appeared to take the corner. Odd. EDIT 2: Hmm. Academic now anyway. I had to reconnect my MFi controller and that crashed the game. (Seems to happen quite often when you try reconnecting.)
Yeah, I'm realizing that I REALLY wish tapping the shoot button could automatically aim your shot at goal. Even if that was an optional setting, it would allow my club to actually score a few. If you can long pass with the pass button, it would be great for the shoot one to only aim at goal. Would anyone else use that setting if it was an option in there?
Nope. Takes the skill away. If you are struggling it probably means you strickers aren't very good! I am using Plymouth (English league 2) I struggled in my first match until I realised I was using a 1.5 star striker not my 2.5 star one. Since then it has been ok, not high scoring - max 6 in one game, with 5 from that striker (I think). Look around for a new striker, and maybe things will improve for you Also as a tip to shoot at goal, make sure the D pad is actually pointing the direction you want to shoot. Sounds fundamental, but I have been caught out a couple of times by this, running across goal and forgot to line up the shot!
I must not be good then. I'm using Chelsea. When I play horizontal view and push left or right to shoot it might go left or right of goal still. I'd love to just have the option to have an auto aim added. Right now the shoot button is really just a hard pass button. It'd help my enjoyment if it was a shoot only at goal button. Oh well.
I should point out that I'm not wanting an auto-direct shot, like PES or something. I'm wondering if I'm being totally ham-fisted or whether the app specifically hobbles lower-quality players. If I'm heading at 45 degrees towards the goal and tap shoot, the ball much of the time seems to just fly off at a semi-random angle. This doesn't happen with higher-ranked teams using the same set-up (MFi / Stratus XL). Well, that's what I am doing. It doesn't seem to make a lot of difference much of the time. Maybe it's the controller and I should revert to the touchscreen. (There's also likely the sense I'm playing this like SWOS, when it's really closer in nature to something like Kick Off. Sensi's a much faster engine, with intentionally more direct passing than AW2.) EDIT: I also suspect that I am, in fact, being crap. Having fun though.
Poor players are specifically hobbled, yeah. Only a great striker with the ball totally under control will shoot in the exact direction you press 100% of the time.
