I really enjoy Downwell, Steredenn and Binding of Isaac. I've downloaded Wayward Souls but not started it yet.

Are there other iOS roguelites that aren't tile or turn based that I might enjoy? I'm sure I'll get into such games eventually, but for now I'm looking for shooters or platformers with roguelike elements.

Wayward SOuls is ungodly good! you will love it

some suggestions: Neon Chrome, Feral Fury (similar to Binding but also good), Leap of Fate, Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead and I highly recommend Crypt of the Necrodancer and Death Road to Canada
as far as turn based goes I love Steam World Heist I know you weren't big on those but it's good too
if you have the money you should grab Crypt of the Necrodancer immediately as it fits your wants :) and just like with all these style games it takes a minute to get your bearings but so worth it... it's right there with Wayward Souls as my favorite ios roguelike and i love binding of Issac too but i actually play Crypt and Wayward Souls more

Damn, you pretty much covered it from my perspective. I would however like to add: Bomboras Forever, Quantum Revenge and Meganoid 2017. Actually Meganoid 2017 is by Orange Pixel and some of his other games are Rogue-like also. Good luck.

Thanks guys, heard about and played a few of these, others not. Death Road to Canada is a game I want to love, but the gameplay isn't challenging or satisfying like in the games I mentioned. With the latest update you have the option to buy permanent upgrades, which I actually think is a better path for that particular game.

Will definitely check out the other titles. Haven't had the guts to buy Necrodancer yet, even though I'm an old drummer.
