"Act of God" is just a general phrase for any large scale natural disaster, like a hurricane or earthquake. Don't get hung up over a phrase.
We'll look into that, thanks for the advice. We have three in-game power ups for now: smart bomb, stasis and invincibility. You can collect them destroying the major structures. Do you have something peculiar in mind? We have a rage mechanic: when you get hit your rage grows and you make more damage. Even the Hurricane is upgradable spending stars that you collect scoring high in the levels. We're discussing about new powers. Do you have any advice? We'll think about that. Maybe the teleport can costs a little life for the effort of doing it. The boss is huge, don't worry. We're discussing the sound aspect of the game right now. Well, everyone else has seemed to tackled the big suggestions (music, ect.), so I guess it's time to ask how much content is in your game? Because if it's only single player, that won't cut it in the iOS gaming world. Maybe different modes? Endless, ect. Maybe some really unique fun ones, who knows? Anyways, keep up the work! Looking pretty well so far!
Right now we have scheduled nine levels and three epic boss fights. There's a hell mode for fearless players and we're discussing about a couple of ideas to add for the launch or in the fist update. Any advice? Thanks for you enthusiasm
The framerate seems to be quite good and the response seems fine. I would place my foci at the price and control... Since the player is a "hurricane", I would not expect the "bullets" travelling in a straight line under strong wind and distorted air walls. Also, I would expect I could tear up anything solid along the path as shield or tossing onto anything shooting! Oh, fire storm enters my mind as another "upgrade" too... Also, I think land mines can be quite effective against such opponent.
Sounds good so far along with upgrading your hurricane. Warblade did an awesome job of adding all kinds of things to achieve and find while completing your main task of killing enemies. I'd check out that game for ideas. The game is slightly different as the background is static like galaga and you only move side to side. But the upgrades, power ups, etc. are relevant to any top down shooter. Off the top of my head, a lightning strike ability would be fitting. When found or activated lightning strikes enemies within a radius around the player. That was one of my less though out ideas, but I do hate trying to dodge quickly and my finger runs out of releastate. If getting hit isn't instant death than I can live with it. SWEET!

Could you elaborate more on this feature? What kinds of things will we be able to upgrade? And do the upgrades carry over from game to game, or are they just for the current game? Sorry if this was asked already, but will there be Game Center and/or retina display support? Thanks for your time.
You can upgrade many aspects of the main character: his life points, his rage response and even the natural element that the hurricane is composed by. Can you imagine a flame hurricane? And it's only an example. We're looking into both o them. Thanks to you for your interest in the game. We can't tell you right now, it's a secret Next week we're going to publish a new video. The gameplay, the structure of the levels and the pace have changed during the last weeks so we want to share with the community the new approach. Stay tuned.
