Wouldn't it be cool if the iPhone/touch had an Achievement system like on Xbox 360 or the Trophy system on PS3? I mean I play a lot of games on the touch and it would be cool to have a little system like that. It would help for developers to add to replayability to the games, and it would be cool to be able to show it off on your blogs, or myspaces or what have you. I understand there are some games with Achievements in there, such as the addictingly fun Dropship, and BIA. Thats cool, but I kind of want to be able to show for it, and be able to tally up the score of ALL my games.

Do you think that will ever happen? Or something close? I am just curious to discuss. Thanks!

Would be fun, and there's nothing stopping individual developers from doing it in their own apps. I doubt Apple would ever invest in the idea, but if a group of developers got together and created a standard... maybe then.
