Not really. I mean, I'm replaying them myself because I enjoy them so much and its been years, but they're just linear stories. Once I've played them through again I can't see myself keeping the app on my iPad. That said, they're like 15 hours long each so you're still getting a lot of gameplay (...and reading) for your money!
Not really, but each of the three games will easily last you about 10 hours each (without walkthroughs).
I'm playing the first PW title and im addicted... AGAIN! I already finished the first one on the DS and on the iOS, and im still enjoying every bit of it. Havent really played the second much, and i've never played the third at all so im looking forward to snking time into this trilogy.
finished these games on the DS before and now i'm hooked again, one of the reason why i failed my licensure exam before, playing instead of reviewing..hahaha, anyways personally PW:TaT would be the best part of the trilogy and PW:J4A would be the weakest, story-wise..now im excited to see Spoiler GODOT and Manfred von Karma ..i love them glasses!
The second one (Justice for All) is the most meh out of the trilogy. It has some good individual cases, but there are some weak ones (relatively speaking of course) as well and there isn't really an overall plot. The third one (Trials and Tribulations) however, is one of the most well-written games you'll ever find anywhere and combines a multitude of plot twists with a masterful storyline spanning the entirety of the game. It's simply brilliant.
Phoenix Wright fans, get your iDevices ready. The PW Trilogy has just hit the US app store! EDIT: Link if anyone needs it: http://toucharcade.com/link/https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ace-attorney-phoenix-wright/id365681816
Dammit, if I never read about the blink bug I would've never noticed. Now all I do is stare at their eyes! Aargh!
