Trust me, you don't want to know, if you know what the bug is, it'll bother you more than if you didn't know what it was. It's like when someone pointed out leifang had no tongue in the vita version of dead or alive. Wouldn't have noticed if I never knew.
Fair enough although I am a bit disappointed that they did not add iphone 5 screen support. Makes you wonder why they delayed it so many times.
Yeah, bro, and you know me for long enough to know that I'll buy the whole package anyway. Just wanted to compare how the prices differ.
I think you can always publish without widescreen... but you can't submit an update without it... weird stuff.
The whole thing looks and feels like a Retina-enabled iPhone game that has been blown up and locked in 2x mode to create the iPad version. As with other games played in that way (e.g. Lost Cities or pre-update Stone Age), the game looks fine, if a little soft in places (unlike non-Retina games, or Retina-enabled games played on older iPads, which are very obviously grainy and low-res). The artwork in landscape mode is scaled up from the portrait-based source material, so all of the images and text are noticeably less defined in that orientation. Notice the borders below: Phoenix Wright (retina-based iPad): iPhone Stone Age (Retina-based iPad): iPhone Stone Age (non-Retina-based iPad):
Hmm, this is not out in Australia yet? Normally if it comes out in NZ the previous night Australia time, it's available by now.
I find our release window is 10am EST. sometimes games do drop earlier but usually it's 10. Edit: ha I was wrong. It's out now
Should be just a few more hours til the U.S. release! Can't wait until OBJECTION runs across my iPad screen as I pummel that no-good prosecuting attorny Miles Edgeworth into the ground!
It's certainly not anything gamebreaking, no, and the actual game more than makes up for any niggling issue the presentation raises. I do actually find landscape more immersive on an iPad, though, as playing in portrait means that most of the time half of the screen is taken up by a functionless, empty grey block. US$16.99
No, the screenshots of Stone Age in 2x mode were from back when it was iPhone-only; the universal version of that game works full-screen on an iPad as you'd expect. I only provided them as a comparison to show the 2x-like way the "universal" PW is set up. It wouldn't be fair to label Campfire Creations as lazy. ^_^
Just got the UK game downloaded. Priced are as follows: 1st game - £3.99 2nd game - £4.99 3rd game - £4.99 All games - £11.99 Seems worth it for all! Bargain compared to DS prices
I have to say, the objection gif emailer is worth 99 cents by itself. I'm having too much fun with it. Don't go spamming your friends with dirty messages k guys??
