Are you sure you're using the NZ App Store? Sounds like you're in another country and trying to get to it, in which case it wouldn't work. If you actually are, then you'll have to wait a little while longer.
Thanks for the answer. This confuses me even more, lol. So I can play my old Ace Attorney (all cases) and don't have to buy that in the new app? I buy only the other two games then? Or will I miss something from the first game?
I don't know what the game looks like on smaller devices, but on an iPad it takes up the exact same amount of space and is positioned in exactly the same place on the screen as an iPhone game in 2x mode; it doesn't play full-screen. You'll miss out on the new achievements in the first game, but otherwise you don't need to buy that one if you already have the old app.
Finally, its out! Since I have the first game in my iDevice already, I will probably just buy the 2nd and 3rd game. I believe it will save me around $4-5. But if there are achievements in the new app for the first game.. Argh. :/
Ah, thank you, that's what I wanted to know. But I am thinking. Maybe I'll buy the complete bundle, which is only a little bit more than the 2nd and 3rd game in seperate and support Capcom, to bring more awesome games like Ghost Trick and Phoenix Wright to iOS... Yes, sounds like a pretty good plan. edit: I just checked and it's only 3 bucks difference. Game 2 and 3 are at $6.99 each and $16.99 for the complete bundle.
Here in NZ the second and third games are $9.99 each, with the entire trilogy at $20.99, making it a pretty straightforward decision. ^_-
Huh? That's really strange. Normally, the pricings are the same after conversion (plus or minus taxes and stuff). It could be that they changed the prices in the last second or the pricongs Capcom mentioned a few days ago weren't completely correct. I did a conversion. If it is, like you say, then it's like $7.99 for game 2 and 3 each or $16.99 for the bundle. That would be the most easy decision for everyone to buy the bundle for 1 dollar more, even if he has the old app.

Well, this app has two entirely new PW games in addition to the single one in the old app, for starters. The games have had a serious overhaul in terms of artwork, sound and assorted script updates; on top of that, the app is also now universal and the games have had achievements added.
