Tapping to load all text in the box would do the trick (rapidly tapping would advance). It's a shame that they didn't put the extra effort into the port, because it could have put it over the top.
There's an arrow button that allows you to proceed with the dialogue by pressing it, right? Don't only press it, but keep it pressed, then the dialogue proceeds very quickly.
As a huge fan of Phoenix Wright, there are a ton more problems besides blinking and retina support. First, some key song tracks have been removed from this collection, which is incredibly surprising. For those in the know, the music that plays after breaking the psyche locks on Engarde, which is present in many intense scenes, is completely absent here. Second, transitions between defense and prosecution is slow and clunky. Animations like the final objection in the third games last case looks completely bugged, and any screenshots of scenes in black and white (like a certain person with a sword in the final case of the final game) are completely absent as well. Honestly I'm disappointed... While the HD is neat, too much was sacrificed for it.
I love the concept of the game but its implementation leaves a lot to be desired. I personally found the controls clunky and didn't like the patronising hand holding at the beginning. It might be great for many but not my cup of tea.
So I'm pretty sure there's a game-breaking bug in the IOS version. I'm playing Trials and Tribulations right now, and right after the part in Bridge to Turnabout where you talk to Bikini about (massive spoilers) Spoiler how Iris is Morgan's daughter and also learn she has a twin you should next see Gumshoe at the Courtyard (according to every walkthrough out there), yet he's not appearing. I've been everywhere and clicked on anything I can think of. What's interesting is that this starts right at part 3 of the investigation for that day. But this is unique to the IOS version as the previous games there were only two parts. So they split the second part for this one. I've gone back and just restarted from the third part, and same thing. Has anyone been able to complete the IOS version of Trials yet? If you've played the game before on DS you can try it out yourself. Download the app and go to part III of the second day of investigation. edit: nvm, looks like they just changed when a particular event is supposed to happen.

Does that really do it, though? The DS versions had the "B" button that would allow you to just get the entire text at once, if you had already seen it once. I can't find that here, and it's something that should be present, otherwise this is going to get grindy...
Do anybody now how to contact the dev? the game run smoothly on iphone 4 but i can not get pass the CAPCOM logo on my ipad mini 6.1.3 crashed everytime have any idea? please.... ireally want to enjoy it on a bigger screen....

Is that mean the old Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney game has exclusive case that now not include in the Trilogy HD version? I try the game on iPhone 4S and iPad 4. The redrawn graphic are very sharp on iPhone 4S, but not sharp enough on iPad 4. So the resolution may be at least 960 x 640 but far from 2048 x 1536. Also, the game run on full screen on iPhone 4S (not support iPhone 5 wide screen), but has black border on iPad 4. Since the game just use simple touch control but not accurate/complicate touch control, I decide to play it on my iPhone 4S. It is common to see that most Japan ported game do not support 2048 x 1536. The game play horizontally very well on iPhone screen. The IAP price is cheap for buying three GBA/NDS redrawn game that ported to iOS. I will buy it without wait for the discount. The game has a mini function that let you generate "Objection!" gif file with your own word that can send through email or twitter.
Great bargain for those who has yet to play the original Ace Attorney trilogy. But for people like me who had played them through several times each on the DS... Waiting for sale to add yo collection only.
Anyone pass rise from the ashes day2 - investigation latter? Can't do anything after examining everything in evidence room and spraying the place down. Pretty sure they breaking up the investigation to two parts might have broke some scripting or something... or something is different from the guides too.
oooh forgot to show him the id card record. This is my favorite case of the series, but the investigation part is a pain at times to figure out how to progress :/ ty!
Rise From The Ashes is broken for me - Every walkhthrough I can find (including youtbe ones), Jake Marshall is supposed to taunt you about the videotape after you press him on "Or didnt you know the murderer was wearing gloves?", then the line about the video gets added the the testimony so you can pwn him. Only he doesnt do the taunt - the extra line of testimony never gets added and I can't proceed. Help!
