      So my wife wanted to access the iTunes library remotely from our new iPad, and naturally the first thing we thought we'd do is install Simplify Media. We had it before but damned if I could find the Windows client software anymore. Went to download that and discovered Simplify is defunct. So is there an alternative to Simplify to play your iTunes libraries remotely over WiFi/3G? I don't care about any social aspects, I just need to be able to access and play.

      I use Air Video. Is that what you are looking for?

      Edit: Ok, thats prolly not what you are looking for :eek:

      Take a look at ooTunes. However it does require an external paid app on your mac "server". Make sure it meets your needs before though, so read the documentation and FAQ on the site before buying.

      YEah, not really what I'm after. I just want to stream my iTunes music library to my iPhone/iPad.

      $25 total cost? Definitely passing on that one.
