    Hello friends!
    Today I want to announce to you my early days project, which I am going to port to the iOS platform. ACCESS CODE: HEAVEN - is an action-oriented platformer in which you play as a character named Bijou - a secret agent who is on a mission. Navigate your way through connected levels and meat face-to-face with badass bosses.

    This footage from one of my early game that I created in 2017. I think Access Code is still good game but outdated input system and level-design bugs (and much-much more things) made whole game completely outdated. This should be remastered.

    Remastered version will include:
    Better character control system;
    Better level-design;
    Smooth camera;
    Upgraded light-system;
    Better story;
    Enhanced levels;

    What is done so far?

    Better character control system Done
    Better level-design Done
    Smooth camera Done
    Upgraded light-system Done
    Better story Done
    Enhanced levels Done

    Quick update:
    Controller support added*

    Now you can actually play Access Code with your joystick and a bit of restrictions:
    At this moment controller works only while ingame. You have to pass title screen with touch controls before using controller input.

    The plot:
    Access Code Zero tells the story of a spy operation at the Quarantine Bay complex, captured by a group of separatists called HOMOGENES. The main character of the game Bijou, must infiltrate the Quarantine Bay, find researches data, and get back safely.

    Sounds good, looks a nice platformer. I'll be getting this once its out

    not fussed about gamepad support. It’s mobile gaming. I don’t bring my gamepad along on the bus or train or someone’s house etc.

    It’s 2020, game pad support is like the bottom line for platformers.

    Honestly, your past titles were mediocre for me. This is largely due to the lack of details on character animations, and feedbacks from enemies against player character actions.

    For example, your character didn’t show reactions when taking damage, and no hit stop or knock back when enemy gets hit by the player character.

    Pixel art style needs those bits and pieces of details. Even NES games had them.

    Actually, when taking damage (in my previous game), the main character's sprite turns white for a moment. At this time, a few red pixels (bloody pixels) appear from the character, and a reddish frame obscures the screen. At this time, the hero becomes invulnerable for a certain time before taking another damage. As for enemies, they also turns white for a moment and bloody pixels also appear from them. And if you remember an archer enemy, then when you deal damage to him, he stops shooting for a moment.

    I'm glad to announce that work on updating my old game is progressing as planned. This project has changed so much that now I don't even know if it's right to call it a remaster? Only a recognizable style and some enemies remain from the original project, so maybe I will be able to make a worthy remake? Today I want to show you one of the new location. No enemies at this point. What do you think about this?

    I never thought that working on this project would be so exciting. Here is a small update of what has been done so far:

    Better character control system done
    Better level-design done
    Smooth camera done

    Upgraded light-system
    Better story
    Enhanced levels done

    As you can see, there are only two tasks left to complete this remake. Estimated release date is set to march 2021. Stay tuned!

    Hello TA community!
    A lot of time has passed since the announcement of this game, and today I am glad to tell you that the game is almost finished.
    I am currently working on fixing bugs and optimizing the visual component of the game. Below you can see two screenshots. The first one - before light system implementation and the second one - after its implementation. I hope you enjoy this graphic style as well as the game itself. Release Ahead!

    Are you planning on having a sound that indicates the door opening or an animation?

    There are two types of doors in this game. Most of them are always open and do not have sound notifications. But there are also doors that require special access cards to open, and these doors have their own animation and sound.

    Good news! Access Code is finished! All that is left is to prepare the game for release, which is what I am currently doing. I also renamed the game title to Access Code Zero as it is essentially a completely different game based on the original.
