How do you get a marlin?? I have been stuck on trying to get a marlin for the longest guys please help me out I don't see any thing about it in the post on here if someone can help me I would greatly appreciate it

Well, I can tell you what I've upgraded and you can decide if you want to do the same... Volcanic Eruption's maximum is at Level 11. "Auto tap 10 times per second for 15 minutes" Delicious Food I have at Level 3. "Produces 7000 times Vitality production per tap immediately" Song of the Moon I also have at Level 3. "Increases all Vitality production by 700% for 5 minutes" In hindsight, I wish I had maximized Song of the Moon and Delicious Food instead of Volcanic Eruption. But especially Song of the Moon.
I was mistaken about the mahi mahi earlier. The person who pointed it out earlier wasn't trolling, I was just dumb.
I can't seem to get the date and time to work, I set it to 11:59 and waited for 12:00 and set it directly to 12:00 ten times and neither worked, not sure why.
Questions regarding the striped Marlin This is the last fish I need and I am very confused as to what exactly triggers it. By every 30 minutes there is a 10% they show up as in 12:30, 1:00, 1:30, etc or every 30 min since the app starts? Also does the game has to be opened the entire 30 minute or can it be in the background or closed. With only 10% of the striped Marlin showing up each time (and I'm not even clear when) it's very frustrating. Hope someone finds the answer to this
The Pearl Has anyone else noticed that a pearl appears on the side of your mountain and sparkles? Doea anyone know if it's a way to a hidden fish? Ive gotten all the fish except the marlin, and I'm wondering about that pearl now..
That's the mystic shell ... You would have had to purchase that using gems. It increases vitality. It's not a hidden item or anything ...
I've asked this question several times now, and no one can answer. I feel like some people just got lucky. I still haven't seen the marlin either, and I've been playing daily since the update
Just caught the Marlin!! So I'd like to share my experience and new information that haven't been posted on here! For me personally, I had the app on for about 30 minutes, (upgrading corals and what not) and then the marlins appeared!! -They VERRY quickly in a big circle around the coralite 5-7 times. This should give you enough time to take a picture of it -They come in a group of 4. -For me, I remember them coming from the bottom right corner moving in a clockwise motion. -When they appear it's very noticeable, they're very big in size, (compared to regular FISH, not whale/shark/dolphin). I'm confused too So MARLIN are just gonna show up every 30mins and I don't have to buy one 1st ok can someone sceenshoot next time they take a picture, because I've had the app open just staring and no Fish resembling a marlin has appeared???
Doesn't work for me either. I think there's another variable that some of us are doing, some of us aren't. Same with the notification fish. Still haven't seen one hidden fish notification - only notifications to retrieve vitality.
Are you sure you're setting it to 12 am and not 12 pm? And for the hidden fish notification I noticed I have to open the app using the vitality notification several times then the hidden fish one would pop up around 30 min later. I shorten my waiting time for vitality by fast forwarding 3 hours (and one min) but wait for the hidden one after naturally (since I'm not sure when they pop up). I got all three of my hidden fish this way. The whale shark took the longest to show up for sure tho. Also if you got the hidden fish notification and missed the 10 minute mark you can always look at the time it popped up and reverse your clock to that time, that worked for me. Good luck
