okay, so... how does it work? Do you have to be in Camera mode and/or zoomed out to find these guys? do they come in from a certain corner of the screen??
I think that they just come swimming across the screen. From what I've seen, I think from the left side. You have to be pretty quick to catch a picture of one. They should just come swimming across without camera mode. I'm still trying to figure out if the app has to be running for those 30 minutes. I'd assume not.
The Marlin is so frustrating. I literally just need the Mahi Mahi, Striped Marlin, and the Dugong now. :/ I had to store a bunch of my fish because my iPod 5G can't handle so many fish being out.
Is there a maximum amount of vitality you can earn when the game is not running? I've checked the game after 6 hours and after 20 hours and I earned the same amount of vitality both times...When I first started it seemed as if vitality built up infinitely over time.
Do you have notifications turned on? After three hours there is a cap to how much vitality is made during your absence, and notifs will tell you when it's time to collect your vitality. As for the 6 hours/20 hours thing, did you level up your Corallite between those two times? If not, that is probably why the same amount of vitality was waiting for you.
does the app have to be open and running for a full thirty minutes at a time in order for the marlin to swim across the screen? i feel like i should have seen them at least once by now also, i got access to the dugong before i got the marlin ... it showed up once i had the angelfish, the mahi mahi, and the snowflake clownfish, and moorish idol
Do you have any of the cash fish? Because I'm 75/78 from the Dugong and I'm just missing the Mahi Mahi, the Marlin, and the last Whale (I need to get the Mahi Mahi or the Marlin to get enough fish to unlock it).
Hidden fish I know for sure each time a notification occurs it is not a message to collect hidden fish - usually it's just a prompt to collect vitality. I think after 9 notifications to collect vitality (provided notifications are on and the game has been off for at least 2 hours, the notifications should occur - I've had to wait 3 hours sometimes) the 10th notification is to collect a hidden fish. I haven't confirmed this, but I think this is meant by a 1/10 chance a hidden fish will be rewarded. I don't know about whether there's a limited amount of time to respond to the notification by turning the game on to collect the hidden fish (I haven't wanted to risk missing my opportunity).
I'm sorry to say this is not the case... at least it hasn't been for me. I got one hidden fish notification on August 4th, and did not get another one until today. So... five days without any hidden fish notif. Not very fun to wait so long just for a fish :/

notifications no, it means you have to wait until you get a nitification. once you get one and use the notification to open the app you then have a 1/10 chance of obtaining the unlocked fish.
NEW CHEAT FOUND - Contact me so they can't find out to fix it I found a legitimate point cheat so lemme know if you wanna hear it.
What skill do you guys recommend upgrading? I got my Delicious Food up to lvl. 5. Should I upgrade Song Of The Moon as well?
