So, I can get into the instagram thing to press See More, but if I try to let the image load, my game crashes. So I press See More quickly and it loads up Safari. Is that supposed to happen? Do I just keep doing that, reloading the game, and eventually I'll get it? :/ Cause I've done that like 15 times so far and no fish.
Yeah, it opens their Instagram page in Safari. The game didn't crash for me so I was able to click the "Go Back to Abyssrium>" up in the top left and repeat another 9 times. Not sure how you'd go about getting around the crashing issue.
I try to click "Go Back to Abyssrium", but it just reloads the game when I do that too. I've done it like 20 times now and still nothing. EDIT: So apparently, I just never got the pop-up.
This does not work. I played the game for two weeks worth of manual midnight settings. Nothing happened.
When it says play at 4 AM/midnight, do we need to START the app at 4 AM/midnight, or just be playing it? And with tap the left corner 5000 times, does it have to be in one session, or just in total?
Can't say for sure but I think for the 4am one I had the app running as the time ticked over, there's probably some leeway either side. The 5000 taps is total, not in one session.
Thanks for the tip, guys! Not sure what type of phone you have.. I have an iPhone 6 and what I did was manually change the time to 12:00AM and changed the date to August 6, then August 7, then August 8 etc. What worked for me was starting the app at 12:00AM time and then playing for a few minutes, like until 12:03AM or something. Then Id close the app completely, change the date to one day ahead, and put the time back on 12:00AM each time. I believe for the 4:00AM fish the exact same method seemed to work. Again I do not know if this is the case for Android.

And I think to get Striped Marlin you have to take picture of them. I've saw them once and took picture but I forgot to focus on them so it didn't work. I'll try next time.
Yeah, that's been confirmed. Apparently, there's a 10% chance every 30 minutes that they will come. You just have to focus on one and take a picture.
Not sure for marlin(dont have) the marlin appear every 30 min on screen, take picture and have 10% to get the fish sorry for english im quebecois
The Koren translation said something about waiting 2-3 hours without the game on before it would send the notification. When I got the first two, both were a little after three hours of closing the app for me. Still waiting on whale shark, and got the update; so now I have a few more to figure out how to get.
