Managing fish... Wondering why you would 'store' your fish...??...does it advance the game in any way or just unclutter the view...? Does your vitality production increase if there are fewer fish using the food etc...? Thanks for any input... LOVE this game...it's taken over my life...!!!
You can only have 80 in the view but vitality doesn't decrease if you're storing some of your fish so you can always buy more fish to double your vitality income . Right now I have jelly fish only in the tank (40) and stored the rest (152) as i want to be able to spot the striped Marlins if they show up, my vitality wasn't affected. No luck for me so far with the Marlin tho
Mahi Mahi ...just got the Mahi Mahi on my iPad... - exit the game... - go to iPad general settings - date and time... - turn off 'Set Automatically' (brings up today's time in blue)... - change Today time to 12:00 AM... - hit < General at top of page to exit date and time... - re-open game and let at least a minute pass... Repeat this 10 times and you should get it...(haven't tried this on my iPhone or other)... **this resets the time on your Skills too so go ahead and collect extra vitality while you're at it. Turn date and time back to 'Set Automatically'... I got the hidden fish notifications by leaving the game open and jumping on every notification I heard. I think about one in ten was for fish (not vitality).

I fizzled out playing this. There's nothing else to do. Can't get the notification and other fish - none of the suggestions work. I did a cloud backup in case I come back to it, but other than that, uninstalled.
Finally got the striped marlin. I stored all my fish for easier viewing and just left the app open while I did some reading, waiting to catch any movement out of the corner of my eye. It was the last fish I needed to unlock the dugong, so I officially have all fish (and mammals). Yay. My fish notifications only worked when I had the notifs set as alerts (on iOS), it didn't work when I had banners. Whale Sharks are one of my top favorite animals ever, so I tried any little thing I could. Changing notif styles seemed to work for me.
I see today's update claims to add four new fish.. seemingly hidden, though - my list of known species hasn't changed, and thankfully, neither has the count required to access the elusive dugong.
presumably three of the four fish are the fish you get with the new attendance feature. it looks like you get gems for every day you play ... there were three rows of gems with three of the new fish at the end of the row. looks like if you play every day for a week, you unlock a fish. the fourth fish is potentially a bonus fish you get after you unlock the other three?
There are so many secret fish that I haven't unlocked, and it's driving me crazy! Unless I get two randomly, I'm stuck at 78/80 different fish. Now I'm just thinking of filling my abyss with sperm whales. As far as clickers go, this is one of my favorites.
Hi...I finally got Marlin pictures tonight but nothing unlocked ... No new fish notification ... I shared one pic to Twitter and saved two others. What did I miss?
Legendary Sunfish How do you unlock the new sunfish...? I've downloaded the Mola Mola app from the manage fish link...even played it a while and paid to remove the ads. My Mola has evolved to 'kid'. What's the secret...anyone...? Thanks...!!
You actually don't have to do anything with that other app. You unlock the Legendary Sunfish by tapping the vitality on the regular Sunfish 100 times.
I had 20 sunfish swimming around to better my chances of getting their vitality to pop up, and got the legendary after about a day. And I guess that was my last fish before I got the dugong, though, I know I don't have the one you get from playing at midnight, or the one from playing at 4am, so who knows. I bought the starter pack to boost my skill levels, and am at about 10AO. This is definitely one of my favorite clickers.
I'm desperatly looking for Moorish Idol - I know that i need to take about 5 pictures of Mystery Chest. I took a loads of them, but nothing happend. I also know that i need to focus on Chest, not on Coralite, so I tried with different angles with no results. Any help?
What's your process of taking the pics? Just snapping them all at once, or taking one, backing out, taking another, backing out, etc.? The game is a little finicky with some of the other hidden fish, so try whatever methods you can.
At first I took one, then waited for another, but nothing happend, so I took five at once and still nothing.
I saved my game data to the cloud and then deleted the app. I just downloaded the game again due to the update, and when I tried to restore my dad up from the cloud, I received a message "no data to restore".
