Hi, Avoid Hitting Piano, very simple but tough game. I included a cheat mode, but I would not calling it cheating, just a way to get to the end of the game and to see the finale. When I developed the game I thought, how sad, but only 1 percent will see the end... but I think I've found an elegant solution. @araczynski hey, I think you have a promo code, right? So if you want to cheat, then do ... well, I think you will find out but it is exactly the thing you suggested... so it should be good for you cheers
That's just manipulating people to say what you want them to say. A fairer poll would be 'Yes, I would use god modes' or 'No, I wouldn't'.
Actually I did notice that in the game when i had a brief chance to play it this morning (only got to 47 points, wanted to give it another shot tonight). i think you called it 'synching' or something like that? i wasn't sure what was going on, but i noticed it had the effect of letting me continue to play. its a very ingenious design i think
no problem Let me clarify anyway: I don't care if there are cheat codes, cheat modes or other ways to cheat the game system. I just personally don't use those methods to get to the end goal. I'm not saying there shouldn't be a cheat mode in games, what I'm saying is that I wouldn't use it. I suppose calling cheaters "losers" was bad language on my part.
not really, i dont' care whether people would USE god modes or not, i care whether people think the OPTION should be there to do so. if you vote 'no' you ARE saying that you don't think anyone in the universe should have the option do cheat. INDIFFERENT to whether YOU would cheat or not.
Hi, yes syncing is one way, but ... this will not help later in the game when it gets fast as hell, then there is XXXXSPOILERXXXXSPOILERXXXX
got to 59, you're right, it does get fast as hell that has got to be one of the most unique takes on a jumping game i have ever played so what's the spoiler? since i'm all about the cheating
If I build a house, do I need to include a ramp next to the steps at the front door? You know, in case a dis-abled door-to-door salesman wants to try and sell me a vacuum. No! I don't. The dis-abled salesman can just move on to next house. It's same way with games, move on to the ones you can manage.
but the point I think everyone is trying to make is you have the option to add the ramp at some point. Doesn't mean you want to or need to, but it's nice to know it's there
or... if a builder is building a house, does he include the ramp in hope that the house will be more attractive to a person who is disabled? or does that builder automatically say "screw the disabled, I only want normal people to live in my houses"... the builder has every right to say that of course (to himself), if he has no problems selling less homes.
New homes are never built with ramps unless asked for by the buyer. They would not sell more homes if they included them. In fact they would sell less because there are more people who would pass them up because of the ramp. Use your head, there are more people who can walk than are in wheel chairs. But that wasn't even the point. I wasn't talking about people who live in the home itself. I was simply saying, "if you din't like it, don't buy it". There are a lot of childrens games that you can buy in the AppStore.
that's all fine and good, but does that mean that everyone else has to only look forward to achievements and nothing else? nobody's asking you to choose one or the other, i'm asking for the CHOICE to have both.
i said yes, but for some games it would really be just a waste of time developing (ie doodle jump). while for some games some games (especially sandbox games like gangstar) would really benefit from it.
Most games do have unlimited lives. Hero of Sparta, Brothers in Arms, Assassin's Creed, Dungeon Hunter, etc, all have unlimited retries. So what are you on about?
he's talking about god mode, so for games with unlimited retries like those, god mode be something like kill everything in 1 hit or the inability to die.
